zoebob -> RE: What's For Lunch (Revived) (8/28/2007 11:18:39 AM)

I decided to heat up some of the pulled pork I brought home from the wedding on Sat.

Royal.Fortress -> RE: What's For Lunch (Revived) (8/28/2007 12:01:22 PM)

A turkey sandwich on whole grain rye bread with havarti and lettuce (and mayo and mustard) with a handful of carrots on the side. And for dessert (no. I can't eat with having dessert!) I'm having a hot chocolate!

ETA: Pulled pork is sooooo delicious .... *drool*

Nicole_Michelle -> RE: What's For Lunch (Revived) (8/28/2007 1:00:56 PM)

Leftovers from supper last night. Chicken and potatos with cream of mushroom gravy. We did have salad, but that was all eaten last night.

Ewwwww[:'(] pulled apart pork?!?! How cruel! [8D] Poor wittle piggy...[sm=icon_smile_faint.gif]

SweetLittleErin -> RE: What's For Lunch (Revived) (8/28/2007 1:14:43 PM)

I had a weird lunch...I wasn't in much of a mood for food....I had a few chips (Pringles Spicy Guacamole), a piece of beef jerky (for protein), some leftover pineapple, and some cran-grape juice.

My salad was good, and it's a good thing because it made 5 servings. I'll be having lots of it this week. [:D] It also had a fennel bulb, basil, onion, and a mustard vinegarette.

Way to go Harvie!

I had to go to the food court today so I got Thai. It was kinda too spicy for me so I didn't enjoy it as much as I could have.

dance4joy -> RE: What's For Lunch (Revived) (8/29/2007 8:52:29 AM)

Today I have a bacon, cucumber and tomato sammich, and an apple with either peanut butter or cheese (haven't decided yet).

Oh, and I also have some veggie crisps (garlic herb flavor)

HisCovenant -> RE: What's For Lunch (Revived) (8/29/2007 11:26:40 AM)

I'll be having my fennel salad all this week w/ a chicken cutlet. Next time I am going to quarter the recipe and only have it twice. Live and Learn!!

peculiar_lady2 -> RE: What's For Lunch (Revived) (8/29/2007 2:00:02 PM)

SweetLittleErin -> RE: What's For Lunch (Revived) (8/29/2007 2:16:47 PM)

I have not been a fan of food here lately so I just nibbled until lunch was over I had: V8, a pickle, sting cheese, cantaloupe, and some chips, and now am eating Dove Dark Chocolate.

Hubby had: water, chicken breast sandwiches, and chips.

PrudentWife -> RE: What's For Lunch (Revived) (8/29/2007 3:07:25 PM)

I had a grilled tuna sandwich with lettus, tomato, onion, & provolone.

So so yummy.

But now I have heartburn. Someone once told me canned tuna can cause heartburn. That is so sad. I love my cheap comfort food!

isaacsmom -> RE: What's For Lunch (Revived) (8/29/2007 3:11:03 PM)

I had turkey and cheese on whole wheat, and a banana with peanut butter.

cherish405 -> RE: What's For Lunch (Revived) (8/29/2007 9:28:39 PM)

Stuffed potato - cheese, coleslaw and sour cream.

BeesKnees -> RE: What's For Lunch (Revived) (9/2/2007 3:09:58 PM)

Garbanzo beans cooked in chicken stock, with celery, bell pepper, onion, garlic and chorizo. I added roasted tomatos when the beans were done.

I love to make and eat soup when it's hot outside, and it's 110 degrees today.

ETA: If any of you NORMAL people want the recipe for this soup for the FALL, just PM me.

_Cinderella_ -> RE: What's For Lunch (Revived) (9/2/2007 5:26:00 PM)

Saturday I went to local mom and pop Japanese restaurant. Had their garlic ahi (tuna) fried rice with parmigiana cheese sprinkled on top and some panko crusted deep fried tofu with their special teriyaki sauce. YUMMO!
