My family owned a farm in WV and almost moved there about 30 years ago (that was before I was born). I for one am glad they did not, who would want to be from WV when you could be from AL

Well, I've got a smartie pants reply, but I'll keep it to myself!!!

I'll just keep using my better judgment and keep it to myself. You know, West Virginia is a beautiful state, Steve! And, of course, so is Alabama. MANY great SG artists have their roots in Alabama.

Yeah, my father lives in WV. I don't believe there is a WV joke I haven't heard. It is definitely a great place to visit. Now the AL jokes on the other hand, I am sure there are plenty of those I haven't heard....

I have finals starting Monday and the first subject is Contracts. That alone should send everyone to their knees. I would appreciate any prayers you can give.

Whew, back from a 3 hour final! It went pretty decent - thanks for all the prayers!

Now, while you're still on your knees, you can remember my Criminal Law final tomorrow morning too!

BTW, if y'all could please pray for God's guidance in my life.

Well we sang once. Our bass singer quit, then I never heard from them again.

Wow, that's too bad.

Hey guys I'm back! I'm smack dab in the middle of a Contracts lecture even as we speak. We're doing a California First Year Law Students Exam Review (aka Baby Bar).

It has a 23% passage rate as I may have said before on here, so I'll be studying my brains out for the next 2 months.

The coolest thing was, I just bumped into a young lady who is here for Orientation and saw my name tag. She then asked me if I'm the same "Tyler" who's on the Singing News forums! I about flipped!

Who would've thought a school only the size of Oak Brook would have someone from the forums coming and actually being here the same time I am for a separate conference??

Anyway, even cooler was the fact that she said she was debating going to Oak Brook and then when she read my postings about it a while ago, that was the "nail in the coffin" to her coming!

Wow - and here I thought no one gave a rip about what I posted.

That's cool! I often wonder if there are people who know me that read what I post here. I guess I'll never really know unless they tell me!

But I'm glad that I do post here... if I didn't, I would have never gotten to know many of you and made new friends!

Plus, where else could I get such a good dose of SG talk?!
