Thank you Lord for the fathers/husbands, that even through tough times, have worked to save their marriages and families. Thank you for the Christian men out there that are mentoring other men and teaching them what it means to be a godly husband and father. We need more of you!

I would like to thank God for the restful three weeks that he allowed me to have. I held a fast, memorized around ten verses of scripture, read aloud with a radio Bible program and got enough sleep for the next grueling six months of the year. He also led me to this forum where I can share ideas and His love with my family: other believers. Thank you Jesus for answering my prayers in the past as well. I am faithful that you will answer my prayers in the future. Thank You Lord.

I thank our wonderful Father God, for the storms that passes us by and for his hands holding back the Missouri River. I thank our Father God for keeping me and my wife in his hands and for protecting our kids for teen and young adult presures! :)

I thank God for the wonder women (Wife) that he has given me, even though I do not deserve such a women, I thank God that she never nags me, she never talks bad me to others like so many women do to their husbands now a days. (If women want a good husband, then be a good wife)!

I thank God for our puppy princess that she is so protective and obedient and a personlity of her own.

I thank God for the van that was able to purchase recently. I thank God for the quiet neighborhood and small town that we live in. I thanks God for the peaceful landlord that we have.

I thank God for giving me the power to captive my thoughts and keep sin away from me, by his grace, his mercy, his power.

I thank God for accepting someone like me! I am a fool for Jesus, a servant of Jesus, addicted to Jesus and his words. All I ever want is to be totally obedient to Jesus with truth, sound doctrine (according to what God says) and I just thank him so much, that there is not any words than can desribe it.

I want to thank Him for the amazing husband He gave me...I want to thank Him for speaking into my heart with patience, grace, love and mercy...I want to thank Him for the gift of His precious Son...I want to thank Him that I have enough, enough love, enough grace, enough to eat, just enough of everything that I truly need...I want to thank Him that my children are happy and healthy, and even that they sometimes drive me nuts, cause that just means they are normal...I want to thank Him that I live in a country where I can freely worship Him without fear...I want to thank Him that he gave me another day.

Boy, I could go on forever...I guess I should just say that I want to thank Him for who He is and for His presence in my life today!

...being poor because it teaches me not to envy.

...His unconditional love because it teaches me not to be proud.
...being cursed because it teaches me not to be rude.
...being taken advantage of because it teaches me not to be self-seeking.
...making someone upset because it teaches me not to be easily angered.
...being sinned against because it teaches me not to keep records of wrongs.
...being made fun of because it teaches me not to delight in evil, but rejoice in truth.
...suffering loss because it reminds me that He always protects.
...being lied to because it reminds me to always trust Him.
...terrible leaders because it reminds me to always place my hope in Him.
...when I give up because it reminds me that He always perseveres.
...my mistakes because they remind me that He never fails.

I am truly thankful that God loves me enough to correct me. I am thankful that He shows me my sins and is helping me grow every day.
I am also thankful that He allows me to help others and be a blessing to them. I am thankful that I am loved.[:)]

I finally got word that the flooding in Missouri did not reach my daughter and her family although towns a little north of them were wiped out.
