poof.........your Dad gets a great job at an outpost in Labrador. Now pooch can play outside. Of course in winter you'll all be holed up under snow for months.

I wish I had a new electric car to drive on vacation.

Poofettes!!! You have your new electric car and it drives on solar power too!! Only it's hurricane season and there's no sun. You'll have to ride your bike instead.

I wish I could sleep well every night without exception.

POOF! You now sleep well every night, no exception. Nothing wakes you up after you've gone to bed. Not even next fall when dd remembers at 2:00 am that her science project is due TOMORROW and it isn't started and she needs help.

I'm very thankful for my job. And I don't mind that I work at night, and I'm especially glad that it's an easy job with little to do and plenty of time to post CW while waiting for people to set off alarms (at which time I actually have to do something). But sometimes I wish I could be awake at the same time as the rest of my family.

(((poof))) not a problem. The whole family moonlights at your place of work now and y'all sleep during the day. Except you live in the house next to me and get woken up when I forget to turn off the alarm and open the back door at 5a.m. to let out my dog. And now the next shift is say, "oh goody. Something to do"><

I wish I could magically pop back to my friends for a visit now and then after I move. They are good folk. And thanks Still4given

poof.........you have a magic carpet that takes you visiting your old neighborhood. It's just a bit hard to drive so sometimes you arrive crashing through windows or bump your friends. But they're so happy to see you they don't mind.

Finally sunny days are here. We plan to kayak after church. I wish my legs weren't so white.

poof... you now have a 12 foot 500 lb. pet that can get it's own food: the neighbors, pieces of your house, the mailman...

I wish my younger son would settle down and get married.

LOL

Your wish is my command! Congrats! He's standing at the alter as I type this, he and his transgendered wife to be.

(yikes! I hope I didn't step over the line there)

I wish I lived in a little 200 year old cottage on the coast of Ireland with no tv or technology of any kind so I could write all day, everyday.

(((((poof)))))) Your kids start picking after themselves. Except they keep dropping things all the time and pick them up like basketballs, jello, smoothies, pizza, spaghetti and noodles.

I wish I could get motivated to do something around here again.

(((poof))) there is a lion tamer and a whip. Need more motivation than that? You've never jumped so far and so fast!

I wish I could take a day to visit the zoo.

poof..........no problem. Some nut with a gun arrived at the zoo and released all the animals. There's a gorilla trying to ride your bike and a tiger trying to catch the peacock that flew up on the roof. If you go out, just throw some meat out the door first and they probably won't bother you.

I wish I could get a deep tan (I don't burn, but don't tan much either).

POOF! Since Still4gvn's last wish wasn't ruined yet, I'll ruin hers along with yours. You take a day and visit the zoo. You take Sill4gvn with you, who wished that her legs were not so white. Now you are both getting very strange looks as people are wondering who those people are, since one of them has one emerald green leg and one lavender purple leg.

I wish my dad (83 years old) was still able to talk like he once could. He's a retired minister and has a lot of wisdom, but after what he thinks is a series of mini-strokes, he has trouble thinking of the words he wants to say.

(((poof))) Oh, I don't want to really ruin that wish. My stepfather had a stroke like that and words got mixed up, birds swam and fish flew, etc.

So someday your wonderful dad will pass onto heaven and then he won't stop talking, "It'll be, let me tell you another story about what my sweet daughter has done....."

I wish I knew a bit more about my family history, before I get to heaven and have to ask my grands....

Thanks, Car2ner.

POOF! You find a book that tells all about your family's history going back several generations. However, the book has been translated into some foreign language, and you're going to have to 1. identify the language and 2. find someone who speaks that language to help you translate it back.

I wish we didn't have to wait until July to get our stimulus check.

((((poof))))) Your check came early and now you can go to all the sales and get what you'd like.

I wish I could get done everything on my "todo list" today.

poof....all done. Now you'll go shopping with that stimulus check and spend too much.

I wish I could climb the big pine tree by my house and sit up in a branch to see Lake Washington and Mt. Rainier.

Poof! You climb it with ease, enjoy the view as a breeze softly massages your face, and the sun sets behind Mt. Rainer. After climbing down you realize, as happens when climbing all evergreens, that the sap has stuck to just about every part of your clothing and body. You give up washing it off your hands and it doesn't come off completely until after the next day. It takes several washings to get in out of your hair. And you still have several stains on your clothing as well as sticky spots on your shoes.

(((poof))) you find yourself in Europe, but somehow you were magically transported there in your pajamas and you have no euros, your passport or even a toothbrush. You are getting looks and people are calling you a crazy american.

I wish I could go wading in the surf

((((poofa))))) You're wading in the surf. Except it's a place where there's been an oil spill and you're lower half is all black and goey.

I wish I could go for a camping trip and stay at a beach.

((poof)) I brought my tent, but before we blow up the air mattresses, put out the chairs and start the grill, would you help me get this black sticky gunk off of my legs?

I wish there were no such thing as cockroaches living in houses. (no, there are none in this house, but our rental needs to have a bug funeral)

(((((poof)))))) Someone watched the Brainiac show and discovered how to blow up your rental house! No more bugs but no more house either!!

I wish I could get more motivated about my junk around here. I've got a plan it's just getting into doing it.

when you go camping, just take what you need (like a swim suit, jeans and Bible.) Then don't go back home. No more junk. (that's what I would have done when we moved to the west coast -also would have taken kids' pics and art work. But dh rented a truck and took everything.)

I wish car2ner cleans EVERYTHING out before leaving the rental. When we lived in NYC all the Apt. buildings had roaches - they get inside the tv, , the laundry, eat the glue in books, the eggs last forever. Ugh

I hear that. I left an apartment that had some creepy crawlies and left my belongings in a garage for a good while before bringing them into the house I'm in now. But since the rental house has been blown up by Carlee, I guess I'll have to borrow your tent!

I wish we could all have a get together at the beach so we could chat face to face for a bit.

good idea. poof......we all pack a picnic and paddle my kayak to an island with a beach. we have a great time chatting and praising the Lord. Oops - forgot to tie the boat and it washed away when the tide came in. Anybody have survival skills?

Kittycat has a wish: She wishes that squirrel just outside the fence would come in.

that is easy...don't even need to (((poof))) just open the door and put an almost empty jar of peanut butter down. Leave it opened and laying on it's side. The squirrels will hop the fence and come right in the door for that treat. But poor kitty will have to watch from a window from another room.

I wish my kitty was here playing with my dog. It is so much fun to watch.

Poof... Your dog and cat play but it turns out that cat/dog fighting is illegal in your county. The local vice squad busts you and takes away all of your pets.

I wish that I could keep up with my brother in tennis.
