poof.......too bad about your brother tearing his achilles tendon. Ouch, he's trying to hop after that ball.

The squirrels are feasting on peanut butter, but Kitty's wish was ruined - I didn't have the heart to put the PB where she could catch a tasty little pest. But she does enjoy watching them and dreaming about what she'd do if.... And I fed her a tuna snack.

I wish someone would invite us to a party where you dress up.
I haven't been out of jeans for at least a year - yes I take them off at night.

Still4gvn, you can dress up and come to a party at my house. The rest of us will be wearing jeans, but you can dress up.

I wish I could have my kids little again for just one day, and then have them go back to being teenagers. They're great teenagers, but I miss the children.

(pooof kinda) Instead of making your teens into kids again, I transport you forward in time and they are bringing their grandchildren to your home... oh all the delightful noise and mess and you can hardly wait until their parents take them back home again.

I wish someone would give me a nice back rub right now...one for m'love, too.

POOF! Here I am! Giving both you and your husband a back rub. Never mind that I've never given anyone else a back rub in my life and don't have the slightest idea what I'm doing. Hope you don't end up more sore than you were when we started. At least I'm doing it with good intentions.

I wish my 13-year old had something to do for the summer like the rest of the family does. He's bored!

poof.........he's got a job doing yard work. But he has to commute to WA to weed my garden.

I wish my room was light green - I'm tired of lavender. But a friend painted 2 pictures in lavender to go with the walls, so the green has to go with them.

POOF! Your room is a lovely shade of light green. Everything in your room is now light green--not just the walls. The bed, the mirror, the dresser, all your clothes, the book you read in bed--and even the pictures on the walls. Your walls match just fine with the pictures, since they are both the same color.

I wish I was a whole lot smarter.

poof....you're now so smart you'll be bored by your friends and get stuck up. while you're so smart, can you un-green me? the neighbors are demanding I give them a ride in my invisible flying saucer.

Also, I wish I had something to bring to the church picnic tomorrow that people would eat. There are usually half a dozen plates of fried chicken, a whole lot of lasagnas and ziti, and a bunch of rice dishes and taco salads. And enough potato salad and desserts to feed all Seattle. What's left for me to make?

POOF! All normal color again. Now you'll have to start over getting a tan. And you have the most wonderful desert to bring to your church picnic. Everyone will just love it. Too bad it has about 4,000 calories per serving.

I wish yummy things (like Krispy Kreme doughnuts) weren't so fattening.

**poof** KK has found a way to remove the calories from their donuts. But now, they are tasteless.

I wish I had a new car that ran on water.

(((Poof)))) You can go to Disney Land and try out one of those rides with water underneath and it would feel as if you were soaring on a car over water.

I wish I could pack up and leave right now.

poof.........you're packed and ready to leave. You didn't say where you wanted to to go. You want someplace near Canada in order to save gas. And it's summer, so you don't want to go south. OK, poof...........you're in Antarctica. But the ice is melting, so some of your luggage is floating around with the polar bears.

I wish we had free Thai dinners for the rest of our lives - including Thai iced coffee and coconut ice cream dessert.

poof a Thai family moves into your house overnight and gives you Thai dinners except you have to cook them american and canadian meals all the other times and teach them English and do their laundry.

I wish I could get caught up on my house work.

POOF! An army of elves comes in and does all your housework while you're sleeping tonight, just like they did when they made shoes for the cobbler in the old story of "The Elves and the Shoemaker." The problem is, you can't find anything in your kitchen because where the elves thought things went is not where you think they go, and the elves are all out of sight so you can't ask them where they put things.

BTW, Still4gvn, I told my ds about my wish for him to have something to do and about your saying he had a job doing yard work but he had to to all the way to Washington to weed your garden. He said he'd do it for $100.

I wish my dh would find out this week that he's getting the new job he interviewed for and found out he's being considered for so we could know how to plan.

the elves must be related to my dh - he has the same filing system.
Annie - he hasn't seen my yard and weeds -$100 is cheap.

poof....your dh has the job. Unfortunately they've classified him as management so he is on call 24/7 and doesn't get overtime pay.

I wish I could beat my friend at scrabble. She is too smart.

POOF! You beat your friend all the time in Scrabble now. Now she won't play with you anymore.

I wish my teenagers hadn't got up grumpy this morning.

(((poof))) your teenager let Grumpy sleep in, now Grumpy wants a big lunch since he slept through breakfast. Why would you let a Disney dwarf sleep over, I'll never know.

I wish I knew why Annie would have disney toons sleeping at her house.

lol.

Annie's family has started a mission to virtual characters. Haven't you heard the Cartoon Song by Cris Rice
(what if cartoons could get saved?)? Those dwarfs just went downhill after Snow White moved out. Glad someone is getting them off the street.

I wish I had a big breakfast. There's nothing unhealthy to eat around here.

^ Got milk? ( oops, this is not "comment on the avatar" thread)

We put Carlee in the squeezer from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Now she is very very thin and extremely tall and bendy. Hey Carlee, since you are so tall now, could you get something off the shed roof for me? Thanks

I wish that ours sons furniture will be moved easily...

(btw, will be afk for a few days, sons moving mid week and daughter this weekend)

poof.....poof..............poof......I want to poof your wish, but I'm so full of that great breakfast that my poofer isn't up to speed. poooooof...there, your son's furniture is moved across the room. That's as far as I could get it.

I wish I was going somewhere new. Car2ner is moving, a friend is leaving on a cruise to Alaska, and a guy in our life group was complaining his wife won't go with him to Aruba. I'm jealous.

Now I'm more jealous! Kittycat wants to go to summer fish camp , she thinks Mickey is much to big to mess with.

If you want the wind to stop, you'll have to ask Jesus. But then He might tell you to walk on water.

I wish some robins would build a nest in our birdhouse.

The robins have built a beautiful nest in your birdhouse except now your cat is eying them as his next gourmet meal and if there are chicks it will be a "chick heaven" day for him.

I wish I could just live in complete trust in God and rest and relax and leave it all in His big arms. Why do I have to be so controlling and know what happens next?

poof.....you decide God will work it out and you no longer have to exert control or try to make things happen. The house is now a mess and there are five foot high weeds in the yard. DD stays out till 3am and has a boy friend covered with tats. Your relatives are still grumpy, but now they have fuel for criticizing your life.

I wish we could give you a hug!

I wish life didn't throw stupid curve balls. In all those family shows on TV the problems all got resolved in half an hour!!!
