(ppoooooff) that is an easy one! You get into your auto, turn the key and find yourself in the driveway of Roswell Auto Techs. They come out and set your mind at ease, repairing your vehical with expert craftsmanship and at a very reasonable and fair price. Then you realize that you are in the middle of Georgia and to get back home would cost you HOW-MUCH-MONEY?

I wish I could find a mechanic as skilled and trustworthy down here at the most southern reaches of Georgia.

*Poof*

You found one. He's skilled. He's trustworthy. But he's closing up shop to leave the area.

I wish I didn't feel nauseated.

poof....stop eating that cheesecake you do and the nausea away goes. Now you can buy lots of cookie dough from Annie's kid and eat it raw

I wish my chills would stop. BTW, the block party turned out nice (a previous wish)

I'm glad to hear that the block party went well - sans airplanes and bulls :) Annie - how did everything go with your son - was he happy with his own performance at the triathalon?

POOF: Your chills have stopped ... because you now have "private summers."

WISH: I wish that I were married to the man of my dreams ...

You're married to the man of your dreams. But when you wake up he's gone.

I wish I could skip school and still get straight A's...

Awww ... now I'm sad. OK POOF: You've skipped school and gotten all A's because your teachers have been quite easy on you. But, now you are in college and, upon taking your placement tests, it quickly becomes apparent that you've don't know what you need to succeed in your freshman classes. So, now you have to take remedial classes ... AND you have to pay for them.

WISH: I wish that I could step outside of the house and not see lizards (they are breeding non-stop down here).

You step out and don't see lizards. In fact you don't see anything. Including that lizard on your back.

(BTW, I'm a college student already)

I wish I could take a vacation... two weeks would do it. Two weeks in the mountains...

Poof, you get your vacation in the mountains, but it rains...lizards!

I wish my throat didn't hurt.

Rgod--thanks for asking. My son was pretty happy about how he did, even though in one of the 3 parts (swimming) he came in second to last. He made up for it on other parts, especially the bike part. We weren't able to get his bike to school for the event, and the kids who didn't had to borrow other bikes. He wasn't sure which one he should borrow, so he waited for the other kids and ended up on a beat-up girls' bike. And he still did well! So he came home happy.

Poof--Gustav takes an unexpected turn to the Gulf of Mexico and never gets to New Orleans. Everybody breathes a sigh of relief except the people who were out in boats.

I wish my family were doing something special for Labor Day, and that I could stay up for it after working all night tonight (but I'm getting holiday pay for sitting here posting on CW, so I can't complain too much. )

poof......your family decides to participate in a labor day parade. they build a float showing labor taking a much needed rest - and you get to be 'labor'. You are stretched out sleeping on a nice soft bed on the float which is pulled by a fire truck. your work phones and computer (open to CW games) are also on the float. Other emergency vehicles follow behind. you all win a prize and the mayor takes you all to dinner when you wake up later.

I've had chills and bronchitis, but feel ok today. I wish I'm well enough to do all the stuff I didn't get done the last couple of days when I was in bed.

POOF: You are well enough and you complete all everything that you have to do. However, you work so hard that you have a relapse and now it will take you twice as long to heal.

WISH: I wish that I could learn this choreographed dance so that I can perform it perfectly on Thursday.

Poof! It's December, but it feels like the hottest summer day!!

I wish my dog would just stick around in the front yard so we could let him wander around out there (instead of guarding all the doors of the house and back gate so he doesn't run off and get lost again).

(((poof))) you have an invisible fence in the front yard and your pooch is as happy as can be to wander around out there, near his home...but then comes the day you move, and your pooch gets loose, travels mile over mile, to return to the front yard he has learned to love and call home. The new folks in the house stare out the window at the dirty skinny dog rolling around with glee on the front lawn.

I wish I had a fenced yard for my pooch.

POOF! You now have a brand new fence all around your yard. It's made of barbed wire. There is no gate in the fence for you to get in and out. Have fun climbing over the fence to get in your car to go to work.

I wish I hadn't forgotten to bring my son's cookie dough sales form to work tonight like I said I'd do for him. So far, he hasn't sold any cookie dough.

oooh, I so don't like those school fund raisers. I did like the quality of the products but since I worked in school, I couldn't take the order forms to work....

(((poof))) we go back in time and you remember to bring the order form. Everyone is so happy since they had been waiting for you to bring in the form. They love the cookie dough so much. They order $500 dollars worth of dough and the school is delighted. You child wins a prize, too. Then the order comes in and you must pick it up immediately since the school can't keep that much dough chilled. Now the fun part... you get to deliver it alllllll (bwahahahahahaaaaaaaaaa)

poof........Annie and car2ner's memories are now flawless. But after a while it gets irritating because they always remember every little thing that needs to be done.

well, I wished that I'd get over the flu and rgod said I'd over do it and have a re-lapse. Just what happened. Today is my first out of bed again. I wish we all stay healthy a long while.

Wish granted: But it has a flipside. Being healthy means no time off from work. Your supervisor does not let you take any sick leave.

I wish I could fly...

*Poof*

You can fly. In fact, you are flying. But I'm thinking that it would have been better to also wish you could land.

I wish I could take a week off.

*Poof* you do take a week off, only to have your sewer back up and flood your house!

I wish there were no flies in the world.

poof...no flys. so lots of birds frogs and fish die bc they don't have flies to eat. Bevik gets written up in National Wildlife for degrading the ecosystem with her wishes.

I wish dh and I could think of things we can do together (he's hyper and I am somewhat limited physically).

POOF--While thinking about how to grant and ruin your wish, I remembered a TV show I saw a few years ago where there were these teams running a very physical marathon. One of the last parts was over a mountain. One girl on one of the teams had given out long before they reached that point, but they had to all finish to win. So one of the guys on the team loaded her up on his back and carried her over the mountain. That's what you and your husband can do together. Hope you win.

Looking around my work station and trying to think of a wish, I see that the girl who sits here on first shift has put up a Philippians 4:13 sign (I can do all things through Christ Who gives me strength), and she has a magazine here on quitting smoking. She also put a sign up warning others who go out and smoke to go without her because she's trying to quit. So I'm going to use my wish for her. I not only wish her success, but I also wish that her effort will spread so that the others who smoke here will quit, too.

Hi Annie. haven't seen you around a while. dh keeps teasing me that he'll get a wheel chair and push me around. I can walk fine, just not long distances. think I will tell him to carry me - I'm 6 ft tall and not skinny.

poof...she's so successful that she is asked to give motivational speeches on trusting God and smoke cessation. Soon she is on a paid lecture tour and quits her job. Now you have extra work till they hire someone.

I wish I was 5'5" and skinny!
