POOF: You wake up and your house is actually clean. But you have to tear it apart again looking for all of the things that you can no longer find.

WISH: I wish I could speak fluent Japanese.

poof...you speak fluent Japanese at church, but it's a message in tongues for someone there and you can never do it again.

I had a great day with Monster Boy - he was good all day. And DiL let dh take Big Brother (6yrs) rock hunting in his car. The first time she let us drive them anywhere. (she's worried about our small cars, I guess) So now My wish is that she lets us take them to church sometime.

Hmm. Don't really want to ruin that wish. Getting unchurched kids into church where they can hear that Jesus loves them and that He will forgive their sins is something I care a lot about. We have some kids at our church who are brought by their grandparents regularly, two little boys especially. Maybe I could ruin it by saying that when you get them to church they behave like those two little boys, and the children's workers have to pray a lot for patience. Several years ago, when they first started coming, they were horrid, and certainly not a joy to the children's workers. But they've settled down a lot now, at least as far as I can tell.

I wish my daughter's skin problems (way, way more than just pimples, and not just on her face) would clear up, but that is extremely unlikely until her braces are off. She has proven to be highly allergic to nickel, which is in her braces, so she's wearing the thing she's allergic to 24-7. They come off Oct. 28, three months early!

POOF: Your daughter's skin problems clear up within 3 days! Her skin is now gorgeous and because she feels better about herself, she is carrying herself with more confidence. The guys start to notice and soon she gets phone call after phone call. When her cell phone bill comes the next month it is $1000.

WISH: I wish that I could find a school where I could learn theology as well as learn how to write plays, scripts, and novels a lot better ...

poof...you now study theology, but since each school promotes its own independent or its denomination's point of view, you understand the Bible less than when you read it on your own. You get into heated arguments about Arminianism vs TULIP and pre or post millenialism.

I wish the squirrels would show more respect for Kittycat. They come right up to the fence and sass her.

POOF! The squirrels have crowned Kittycat their queen and now bow whenever she comes into their presence. But as soon as she's gone they chatter most disrespectfully about her!

I wish my 18-year-old son had a job in addition to going to college full-time, and could still keep his grades up.

LOL I'll tell Kittycat.

poof...your son is now cloned. One of them goes to classes, one works full time and one gets to date and do sports. But it's expensive to feed them all and they've had some disputes about which one gets to go on the dates.

Poof... wish granted. Every time a politician tells a lie, his or her nose grows. But the longer it gets, the pointer it becomes, and than every time they tell a lie, you have to admit, they've got a point

I wish I had a Hummer H2.

LOL about the pointed noses.

poof...you got a huge piece of warm apple pie with a side of ice cream. Too bad you just ate so much lunch there's no place for it.

I wish my husband would stop collecting broken computers he intends to fix someday. He has about 20.

Poof your wish is granted as your husband throws away all the computers in the house. In you estatic state you suddenly realize he actually threw away ALL your computers. You rush to the dump only to find that a dumpster diver has already taken your computer plugged it in and retrieved all you identification and has already racked up a hefty bill on your credit card and has already applied for new cards and started charging on them also. ( some things are better left alone)

I wish I could grow hair again.

POOF: You do grow hair. All over. Uncontrollably. People often mistake you for a werewolf.

WISH: I wish that my walls were painted a beautiful mauve.

poof....all your walls are now a beautiful mauve, but you just won a full set of orange colored furniture carpets and bedding. Hope you get used to the combination.

I wish I had a good adventure/mystery to read.

Done. But your little sister flushes it down the toilet right when you are at the climax of the book. And there is only one copy, too.

I wish I didn't have to do Physics this year.

Done. But now you have to work 20 hour days @ your job to make up for the time you missed while you were in church.

I wish I had a Playstation 3.

You can have my play station 3 but then you have to deal with the extra electric bill from playing it too often. Then you'll be po, have to live on the streets in the box that the ps3 came in.

Poof... I'd grant your wish, but you didn't list one. Too bad. And seriously, I wouldn't mind having your PS3. You can ship it to me if you really meant it!!

I wish I can be invisible when I chose to be.

haha, i wish i could. i really wish i could.

you can be invisible but then you'd turn visible at random times... and you'd try to cry the street in your invisible state and turn visible and get hit by a moped. ouch.

and that is my wish, that i could mail you my stupid ps3

Poof your wish is granted. But once the politcally correct police see that you called your ps3 stupid they mail it back and fine you 100,000 dollars for you insensitivity in using the word stupid.

I wish I could loose my dreadful hook while playing golf.

i dunno what a hook is so i'll assume its your arm. so you lose your arm while playing golf and are now forced to use a tree branch in the hooks place.

i wish my feet were not cold
