ColtsFan,

That was a lovely testimony to the love of the Lord. Thank you for sharing and may God continue to bless you, as He clearly has already.

The song "DOes anyone hear her" by Casting Crowns really fits how i felt 'bout things. I wonder if anyone does or if all they see is my bare left finger & my protrudin' belly.

You are loved by a wonderful, holy and righteous God. Nothing else really matters in that light. Hold onto Him and allow the people He has placed in your life to care for you.

I know this thread is really old...OP are you still around? How is your niece? I hope everything is going wonderfully well and everyone is happy.

I think it is safe to say that no one can understand what a single mother goes through or what is going through the mind of the unwed and pregnant woman other than someone who has walked in her shoes.

I agree that sin is sin and, I also know there is no temptation that we cannot overcome with the power of Chirst. But, you never know what a person has been through, that is why we leave the judging and condeming to God. We don't even know the full life story when it come to our closest family members or see the full picture but, God does.

For example, sexual abuse as a child can affect a person for a lifetime, even a saved person. I am sure you agree that some gererational curses are very hard to break. Any abuse can really affect the decisions we make, how we see ourselves as people let alone as sexual beings.

Just a general question...what is your biggest temptation? Why do you think you are prone to that kind of sin? Just think, what someone else must overcome may even be harder to deal with than your biggest temptation.

I think single parents can be some of the most powerful servants of the LORD, they are often blessed with compassion, understanding and wisdom that they gained through their experiences as a single parent. Remember God uses ALL things for good for those the follow His will.

I am still here and my niece is doing great. She and her boyfriend got married. The baby came 7 weeks early. She had to stay in the hospital for two weeks but she is fine now. She is the sweetest baby ever. She eats, sleeps and plays (rarely cries).

My nieces husband went back to school. She stays home with the baby. They are the happy little family.

She never was held accountable as far as being a youth leader. No one ever said anything about it. They moved on campus so they are about two hours away from us, so that probably eliminated some of the need for accountability. Nothing has ever been said (not even in the family) about the lies and deciet. I still think that she should have come clean but that is just my flesh wanting that I guess.

Thanks for asking.

Do you mean single as in not married but in a relationship, or no relationship at all?
