Rear Window Boy Meets Girl (no movie I've seen has so successfully mocked the romantic comedy formula) I am pretty sure Rear Window is in color. It is an excellent movie, but not for this thread, I guess. Is Boy Meets Girl with James Cagney? If so, then that is one of his movies I don't think I have ever seen, but I think I may have seen a clip of it on a show about Cagney. I think I would really like that one. (If it's Cagney, it has to be a pretty bad Cagney movie for me not to like it, although I will say The Bride Came C.O.D. is not exactly one of his stellar movies, even though it has Bette Davis in it, too!) Hmm, I could have sworn it was in black and white, but I checked and yeah, it is in color. I'm not sure why I remember it that way. Boy Meets Girl does star James Cagney. I see that it has only a so-so rating on IMdB, but it seems like reviewers either think it's brilliant or absolutely hate it. Cagney plays a Hollywood screenwriter, the movie's kind of a farce about Hollywood and the studios. The two writers are trying to come up with a script and they're tired of doing the boy-meets-girl, boy-loses-girl, boy-gets-girl-back plot line.
