I do have some vintage Statesmen and Imperials on Itunes. I had forgotten about them.

Wow...I didn't realize until looking at my Top 25 just how little I've used iTunes for listening to my hard drive music library. My #1 song has only been played twice! It's "I Am A Pilgrim" by Alabama. Of course, the same songs are also on my iRiver, which I use constantly...but it doesn't offer a Top 25 report, unfortunately...

It would have been fascinating to find out what your top 25 were!

I don't have an Ipod but if I did there would be a lot of Brian Free & Assurance, Ivan Parker, Kirk Talley, Gold City, Legacy Five, & Booth Bros. on it, just to name a few.

ORIGINAL: danielmount We've done different threads in the past having to do with your top 25 most played songs list in iTunes / Windows Media Player. Some of these have involved reformatting / re-typing the whole list--an interesting but time-consuming exercise. Today, I have in mind a few different and new questions. 1. How many groups are represented? 2. How many times has the #1 song on the list been played? 3. How about #25? 4. Have you ever gone straight through and just played your top 25? 1. 8 2. 35 3. 35 4. all the time...

My iRiver does list 100 or so "Favorites" which I assume are based on the number of times each song has been played. I'm not sure if it's in any particular order. The first two or three seem about right. Assuming that it is, my most listened SG songs are: 1. The Old White Flag - Triumphant 2. Jesus & John Wayne - Gaither Vocal Band 3. He Rescued Me - Triumphant 4. He'll Be Holding His Own - Martins 5. American Christian - Dave Williford 6. Walking Down The Road - David Johnson 7. The Darkest Hour - Ricky Skaggs & Kentucky Thunder 8. The Holy Hills Of Heaven Call Me - Triumphant 9. Spread A Little Love Around - Imperials 10. Better Farther On - Chestnut Grove Quartet 11. Look No Further - Perrys 12. Praise My Soul, The King Of Heaven - GVB/EH&SS 13. Heaven's Joy Awaits - GVB/EH&SS 14. Love Is Like A River - GVB/EH&SS 15. Great Day - GVB/EH&SS 16. Better Hurry Up - Happy Goodmans 17. The Difference Is In Me - GVB 18. There Is Always A Place At The Table - GVB 19. Search Me Lord - GVB 20. A Brand New Song - GVB 21. Wonderful Time Up There - Gold City 22. 'Nuff Said - Stephen Hill I'm skipping non-SG genres. Comedy clips are the most popular, but that's because I usually fire up the Comedy genre just before I go to sleep at night and let it play for an hour or two. I don't actually hear most of those while I'm awake.

reason why I said SG is because SG is not most played by me. Bluegrass owns that title and by far. Triumphant Quartet, Cherryholmes, Jimmy Martin, Rhonda Vincent, Casting Crowns, Third Day, Rebecca St. James, Rachael Lampa, Hank Williams Sr., Hank Williams III, Aaron Tippin, Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley, Dale Watson, Delbert McClinton, Josh Turner, Devil In A Woodpile, George Jones, Guy Clark, Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash, Wanda Jackson. have to say last week those were most played by me
