You know eventually that stops working. My technique is to (at my first stop) get a red bull (or something similar) and down it quickly. Usually about ten seconds. We did this in Iraq to stay awake on the 12 hour days (every day). Not that we did this every day. Red Bull's are expensive. But we did it when we could.

I am a little leery of those heavy caffeine drinks. Sometimes after drinking a lot of caffeine I can feel my heart racing. So I am very carefull about that. I don't drive more that 11 to 12 hours at a time, before I stop for the night. I will stop and walk around every few hours too.

I do it occasionally but try not to become dependent on it (which means I don't do it often). I have to stop and walk from time to time when we're traveling too. I love to travel but I think arms and legs need to move.

I'll admit it. I'm hooked on caffeine. Next week I'm supposed to go an entire week without any soft drinks on the job. I know of at least one bet placed between two others as to whether I can make it.

But when you have to do it, you have to do it.

I just sent Mark, her piano player an email to ask. He told me before he would be in Revival.

Mrs. C. and I got to meet for the first time Dinana, GVFan, JimC, Jchaz and Mr. Scripture. Already knew Qtman, RobertYork and jlpoll. Have not been awake too long so may have forgotten someone but hope not. ETA....I think I saw Big Chief there also but he did not introduce himself. I guess he is shy.
