As the Triumphant Quartet begins their new journey on the road, I just want to ask all of you to pray for safe travels for them. We wish them the best of luck in this new endeavor of ministry. NOTE: January 27, 2008 7:00 PM First Baptist Church Sevierville, TN

Amen! I'm excited for them. Will pray for their safety, ministry, and that their families are kept safe and well in their absence.

Looking forward to them being on the road. Of course won't be able to see them as much as we often visited Pigeon Forge to see them. One thing for sure I have them scheduled three times in the area in 2008. Next time is March 29 with Aaron Wilburn in Powder Springs. Know that's gonna be a great night. Lots of laughs and lots and lots of great gospel music. We'll be praying for them and their families while they travel next year. And we pray that the bus will keep running well for them. That's one of the worse things about traveling is to have the bus to break down while you're on the road.

I don't know if I want to admit the direction my thoughts went when I first saw this thread pop up....(shades of a recent PSQ press release).[&:] I was relieved when I saw what it was really about!

DJM, That's what I thought as well....oh no, who has left? Actually, it's pretty remarkable they have gone this many years with no changes so far. The road will be a true test of their willingness to stick together. They played it smart from the very beginning, traveling in a van until they could buy a bus, etc. I wish all groups could be as consistent.

Didn't TQ purchase "The Barney Bus" from The Wilburns? It is a really nice coach, and has lot's of SGM history, not to mention Country history, as well.

My next Triumphant Quartet concert is 01/26/08 in Lenoir NC. They are with the Hoppers, Greenes and McKameys. Three of my favorite groups (TQ, Hoppers, Greenes) in one concert. I can't wait!

By the way, the greatest bass singer in the world's daughter got married on Saturday. I heard that it was absolutely gorgeous! And I understand that Eric did get a bit emotional - can you imagine that?!?!?!?
