It's already 87º here and it is supposed to drop 50 degrees when the front comes through. Yep, we are supposed to have freezing weather tonight. This is just about the wierdest winter I've experienced in a long time.

Oh I'm sure we are looking at a messy morning tomorrow as far as the morning commute goes. Likely school delays or maybe cancellations depending upon exactly what we get. The weather guy is saying anywhere from 3 to 8 inches. That's a HUGE spread isn't it?

Blessings,

Garsy

What a contrast, Beckey! At first I thought you meant dropping to 50 degrees and even that would be a big difference. Right now it's 59 degrees at 8:44 a.m.

We have +28 degrees around here. And MORE snow is expected tomorrow. They also told us to be prepared for a storm rolling in next week. They won't tell us how much snow is comeing in with that one.
Is it SPRING yet?

It is coooooold here today. We had a front move through last night with some severe thunderstorms, and the cold air is moving through today. Highs are around 60º, and it'll get into the high 20's tonight. This is cold for Central Florida. Burrrrr!!

A nice day here today. The high made it to 61* or so. When I left work at midnight it was still well above freezing.

Tis the 4th of March - March is definitely coming in like a lion. Here's to hoping it does go out like a lamb!

We are getting freezing rain right now. And it's been coming down since about noon today. Several school districts in the area closed early and nearly all cancelled or postponed all afterschool and evening activities and games. Hubby called to say that several of his co-workers were going home early because of the road. The company was sending anyone with more then a 20 mile drive home early. Unfortunately we sit right at 19 miles.

My eldest was supposed to have musical practice after school today and the youngest had a scheduled brownie meeting but both of those were cancelled as well. I started out after the little guys as I was going to pick them up at school as planned, but when I slid right thru the intersection at the end of my block, a whole two house and I was only going maybe 10 miles per hour, I called the school and have my little guys sent home on the bus too! I met the kids at the bus stop since that freezing rain and sleet really hurts when it smacks you in the face! I didn't want my kids to walk through that even the short half a block they would have had to walk. Anyway when I called the school the secretary told me that all afterschool activities were cancelled anyway.

Anyway all home safe and sound. except hubby. Pray he takes the well travelled route home and not the backroads.

Blessings,

Garsy

It's sunny but on the cool side. I know not to expect warm weather until after spring break (mid March here usually) and my daughter's Mach 18 birthday, but I still keep looking for it. I'll have to settle for the odd warm day here and there for a few more weeks.

We had gusty rain storms earlier today, however I missed them fortunately though. It has been windy and mild here. March has actually come in like a lamb so far.

They are expecting torrential downpours here tomorrow. Not really looking forward to it, but at least it is not snow!

Not to bad here today. Nice, roads dry and easily travelable. Tis a good thing considering the amount of driving I had to do today and what we could have received according to the original weather reports!

It's a little chilly and a bit windy, but overall a nice day! YEA!

Blessings,

Garsy

It's gloomy here and we're having thunderstorms. We need them, but the kids don't like the thunder too much. That's okay, though. I can sneak in some cuddle time when they're worried about the thunder.

It's in the 50Fs here. My son walked home from school and asked what the temp was; he said it felt more like 70 or 80F. The sun is shining and it does feel good.

Second week of Autumn and we're up to our 12th consecutive day above 95. Record temps all round. Overnight low of 86.
Please pray for our firefighters. All under control at the moment but hoping things don't flare up over the weekend.
