Hey there! Sam, I was wondering the same thing about you.

Hey James, Kimberly, Kath and Trish!

There. I think I'm caught up again.

Maybe.

And now, I'm off to go to the grocery store; y'all have blessed days today.

There is seriously something wrong with some people.
That could be a forums motto or somethin...

quote:

Aaaah, Kerr, not you people, some other people. Have you noticed I've never made a lawyer joke?

I noticed that, so I stepped up my production of lawyer jokes to take up the slack.

Those were jokes?

That's a relief.
Well of course. I pick on ya, but I wouldn't intentionally be hurtful. Especially not to a friend.

Well fiddle.

I never made it to the grocery store, and it's too late for me to go now.

Somehow in the past couple of weeks, I made a huge mess of my checkbook . . . and I've spent the majority of today straightening it out.

Which is weird considering that I "formally" balance my checkbook each month when I get my statement and I also "informally" balance it every week when I pay my bills.

I think I must have either been asleep or drunk when I made some of the entries over the past couple of months.

SO.

Now, I need to get busy uploading some more auctions.

By the way . . . have I ever mentioned that I live in an exploded toy factory?

I've got you marked down in purple on my calendar for Monday; hope it all goes well for both you and GB. What time do you need to have GB at school so you can make it to work on time?

I'm thinking I should leave her school no later than 7:30 and I should be fine. Eww...I'm not usually up until 8:30.

I'm not! I'm up at 5:40 am in the morning Mon-Fri and 6:30 on Sunday. 8:30 is way oversleeping for me even on a Saturday. I can't sleep that late any more.

Okay.....I'm usually up around 10:30. That's when Ben pokes me in the arm and says "I'm ready for breakfast."

I wouldn't sleep so late if I could sleep properly, but it seems like I get more done after the kids are in bed, and then I get all wound up, so it takes forever to fall asleep.

I'll PM you my address so you can send me my statue. My oldest sister is usually at her desk by 5:30.She does something to do with bean counting for a government contractor. She rags on me for "sleeping in" when I visit.

RE: people not hearing what is being said---a few months after my brother died I was calling to close some account of his--I told the woman in customer service who I was and why I was calling--she said she would need to speak to the account holder--I told her he was deceased--she said she was sorry but she couldn't do anything until she talked to him. Well then I said that would be difficult because he was dead--she said well is there a way to reach him?!!!!! She kept insisting she could only close the account with the account holders permission. I was so frustrated I told her if she could reach him please tell him to get his butt back here because he left me with a mess. She never did get it--I ended hanging up and calling another day.

..... oh Diva, I'm sooo sorry.

We went through a lot of these conversations when my father died in January... it got so bad that my mother was unable to make the calls anymore... So we'd sit at her kitchen table and I would make the calls for her...

... after a while... I helped her by making jokes about it... and soon, she'd sit there and make funny faces while I tried to muddle through to get business done!

Surprisingly... the company with the employee which had the most compassion was Verizon Wireless... Bless that lady's heart! <3

(((((Diva!)))))

We went through this twice with my dad- and she was the legal POA!!! I told her next time to ask if a seance would suffice...

I get up at 5:30 every day. Leave for work around 6:15; work from 7:00-3:30. Am home between 4:15 and 4:30.

Weekends: I'm lucky to sleep until 7, and that only happens when I force myself to stay up until 11 or later.

.... my first alarm goes off at 5am.... and I hit the snooze button several times until my cell phone alarm goes off at 5:30....

Then I lay in bed and torture myself about thoughts of getting up.... and then the 6am alarm goes off....

I usually roll out of bed around 6:30 - 6:45ish....

Somehow... I've learned to get ready fast in the morning...

I snooze until about 7 fairly often (then again, my first alarm only goes off at 6:45).

Except on weekends, where I sleep in a bit.

You're so silly Rach. Why bother with the 5:00 alarm? In fact, why not just set it for 6:30 and be done with it? Or do you need to wake up s.l.o.w.l.y?

My alarm goes off at 5am as well. I usually force myself out of bed by 5:30- worst part of the day!

Even after a shower, I stumble around until I've had at least one or two cups of coffee! That's why I get up that early, I have to have a half hour to sit and drink coffee, so I don't injure myself, lol!

I hate several alarms. I'd rather sleep an extra hour and sleep well, then deal with waking up slowly to several annoying sounds.
Then again, I am a morning person.

In college I had a radio station that was awesome in the mornings. Soft Christian music. I would set it for 5:58 and listen to the news and the trivia question, then get up when the news was done and listen to the music as I got ready. I miss that radio station.

OK. Change of Subject. I get a daily joke in my email. Today's made me think of Sharon-Marie.

It was a bunch of smart-alecky Q&As about the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver.
This is the one that made me think of Sharon-Marie.

Q: I have a question about a famous animal in Canada, but I
forget its name. It's a kind of big horse with horns. (USA)
A: It's called a moose. It is tall and very violent, eating
the brains of anyone walking close to it. You can scare it
off by spraying yourself with human urine before you go out
walking.
