Pam, copy the web address of your picture page.
Then open up a reply box as if you were going to make a post
Use the link button and link the webpage without actually making the post.
Copy all of that and paste it in the spot on your profile page and hit apply.

I'm pretty sure that'll work.

Hey, Sam, I have to tell you, along with enjoying your pictures so much, I was just a teensy bit envious at the way they were so nicely displayed! And then I saw that it was photobucket! And I have photobucket too, so I figured that "slideshow" must have been a very recent enhancement. Sho 'nuff, it was.

Neat thing is, it's called a slideshow, but there really isn't any movement to it, so it's not dizzying. And it takes the whole album, it's not limited to just "so many" pictures. It's quite nice.

Now, I have a question. I know I've done it before, but I've completely forgotten how to get a link into my signature. I thought I knew how and completely messed it up. (That's why there's nothing there now.)

Help! Somebody?

I am assuming you know about the signature block on teh profile page. The way I do the link is to create it in a post like I was going to post it to the forums. I type the words to describe the link and then click on the link button across the top. Then I copy and paste the link in that block. Sharon-Marie can give much better instructions on this than I can. But if I can help let me know.

Thanks, Sam; that was sweet.

Pam, like Sam, I create my siggy links in a typing window and then just cut and paste in to my profile where I change my siggy.

I need to log off now, but if you need additional help, let me know and I'll give you more detailed instructions when I get back later tonight.

And ride alongs are very eye opening. My first one they said was a quiet night (it was exciting to me, but then I sit in front of a computer all day). The second one was....

not...

I will admit that when we got to run a red light with lights ablaze as we rushed to the 911 strong arm robbery call, I... umm.... was enjoying myself...

I'm jealous now. Thanks a lot.

You're welcome!

The only really scary part of the night was when the officer I was with started typing on his laptop...

With both hands....

While driving down a busy street....

NEVER try to read the forums while making salad dressing in a hurry . . .

. . . Or else, you might end up reading something like, " When the officer who's lap I was sitting on, while driving down the street."

I almost slung hucklebbery honey mustard salad dressing all myself!

What? You've never driven down the street sitting on an officer's lap?

I think I just did the equivalent of 100 situps from laughing so hard....

Those patrol cars are pretty crowded, but I can't imagine being very comfortable sitting on the officer's lap... Added to that, I'm sure if I tried to crawl onto the officers lap while we were driving down the road, that I would probably learn first hand all about the booking process at the local jail...

Just guessing of course...

Wow all this talk about sitting in officer's laps and I almost fell of the page.

Good afternoon All. About time to go home and let the dog out. You know the bad thing about being gone for a week is having to catch up on w_ _ k when you get back.
