If I had some of those fresh peaches that Diane has I would make some homemade Peach IceCream. That would be so good on a hot day like today.

We canned some peaches recently and I was thinking of making a cobbler after reading about yours. I do have a question. What is the correct ratio in juice to corn starch for thickening? I never really know and guess.

Gee, Brenda, I'm not sure....I can't recall thickening any cobblers I've ever made down thru the years since I just use what I think is enough juice in proportion to the fruit....I'm one of those "eyeball" just about everything except actual baking
I'll see what I can find out about that if someone doesn't soon give you a better answer than I could

Hey Sam, did you play a little golf today? Or maybe the cradle was calling.
I guess it was too hot for golf here today because there were only 3 young men on the course.
We didn't even have much of a breeze. After getting dehydrated and too hot last weekend I am staying close to the A/C.

I think it was too hot for coffee at 6AM this morning. I've just been having peach tea this afternoon--not too sweet, just refreshing.
