Other than my weight loss I am doing well. I'm not liking that summer is almost over already in Wisconsin but there's nothing I can do about that. I'm having fun planning how to change my biggest flower bed for next year. I am taking a bunch of the flower (perennials) that are in there now out and moving them so I can put some different varieties in there.

Danielle had her first appointment with the high risk OB on Friday. So far everything looks good they said. I covet and appreciate continued prayers at least until we are holding a live, healthy baby in our arms in February! And thanks to all who are praying.

Glad to hear that everything's going so well, Sheila.

What flowers are you going to put into your garden?

We've got all sorts of bulbs out in the back garden. When they die down, there's a lot of weeds that have to be pulled out too! Can't get to the weeds for stamping all over the bulbs!

Thanks for asking, Trish...even though I don't come on too often.

We've had a couple scares but all is well.

First it was my dog losing blood. She is 12 so I was all upset thinking she was dying. Craig took her to the vet for me (since I had to work) and they did some tests and it was concluded she just found something somewhere and ate and it was her sensitive stomach that caused the problem. So....no more letting her outside without "parental supervision".

Scarier was this Saturday I woke up to a message on my phone that Danielle was in the hospital. She has woke up with some wetness around 2 am.
SO....we cancelled plans to get together with my parents for lunch and headed to the hospital. To make a long story short, thankfully everything there turned out fine too. They concluded that the baby perhaps hit her bladder. Which, by the way, we now know that my in-the-womb grandchild is another little boy!!

So, praise God that on both counts He brought us through positively!!!

Thanks again for asking Trish. I have to get ready for work now. Have a great week!!

Oh.... and GO BREWERS!!!! We were at the game yesterday... it was GREAT!!!

But I understand. After all, I rooted for the Stillers in the '90's.

Sheila, was Danielle embarrassed to mention what the problem may have been after all?

No, MBee.....she said she would never be so happy to have had the baby hit her bladder and to have had "an accident". She was just thoroughly relieved that the baby was safe.

Please say a prayer for "Heather" who is also pregnant and is having a scare right now. She is on bed rest and will have to go back to the hospital today to check to see if their is blood in her urine. Please pray that her baby "Levi" is safe as well. Thanks!

Thank you Maggie and PC.

I saw Heather's request but only take a few minutes here and there.

As soon as a saw bladder, I grinned and winced at the same time. I remember those days but I think I was a bit further along when I'd wince when it happened.

I was playing with a 3yo last night. ALL BOY and his mom is worried he is ADD. No Mom. That is energy and he isn't being violent, it is called learning cause-and-effect. Throw in a 'didn't see mom all day' and 'let's perform for the visitor' and you will get flying cars and stuffed sharks. Especially when Mom wants to talk to someone over 4 feet tall (she teaches 1st or 2nd grade)

And this is what Danelle has to look forward too. Heather too. I love little boys and not in a weird way.

Thankyou Sharon, MBee and Beckey.

I babysat for 5 boys when I was 12...it had me praying to have girls when I started having kids. God gave me girls. However, I learned "watch what you ask for...you might get it" when they became adolescents - teens. (especially my oldest who was much for defiant)

I love them dearly though....I just don't want to go back to those days!! LOL!!

Yes, Mbee, I took that photo a couple of years ago. The blue sky is courtesy of Photoshop. And quit being nice, it confuses me.

You guys are so clever. I don't know the first thing about using a digital camera, getting photos off a digital camera and how to use photoshop.

Neither did I, Trish. It's all been through trial and error. Mostly error.
