I pray with all my heart that God gives your wife strenght to talk to you and a healing all over her body ,My prayer is also for the baby that God will cover her with His protection and keep them both In His Lovng Care. Nate's update for today:

FINALLY! Tricia is fully awake! She is still weak and very tired/sleepy, but her mind if fully awake! Still having a hard time focusing her eyes, and she can't do much with her hands, but we're having a much easier time reading her lips.
I just spent about an hour with her (they're doing her chest PT right now). When I arrived, she told me that she wasn't clear on where she was and why she was there. The last she remembers, she was still down on her usual hall (7800). She even though that she was in a different hospital. I assured her that she was at Duke, and spent about 10 minutes giving her the outline of the past 3 weeks.
Then, I showed her The Video of Gwyneth and we both spent some time crying tears of happiness together.

Gwyneth Rose is doing well. Her white blood count was up, so they sent a culture to check for an infection, and resumed her antibiotics just to be safe. Otherwise, she was sleeping peacefully when I checked on her a few minutes ago.


Lord, we thank you for all that you have done in the lives of this precious family. Please continue to give Nate Your strength and peace. Please continue to strengthen Tricia so that she will be healthy enough for the double lung transplants. Thank You that she is now aware that she and Nate have a beautiful baby girl...Your precious gift to them. Please continue to strengthen little Baby Gwyneth...help her to gain weight and to overcome all the physical obstacles facing her at this tender age.

You are worthy of all praise and honor Lord, for all that You have done. Thank You.

Just thought I'd link to Nate's site today since there are new pictures of Gwyneth Rose which should be a great incentive to pray.

Lord, if any one should ever doubt how awesome you are, they need but look at this tiny 1 1/2 pound little darling to confirm it. You formed her in her Mother's womb and You knew her before You formed her. Please continue to protect her and keep her. Please help her Mother to grow stronger every day, and please give her Dad the endurance to run the race You have set before him.

You have done great things already, God. Would you please continue to do them in this family?...that Your Name would be high and lifted up and many would be drawn to You by this testimony of Your love, mercy and grace.

I wanted to share a picture of Tricia that Nate posted. As I quoted Nate the other day, she is awake now and looks absolutely beautiful (scroll down to the Jan. 18th 2:56pm post to see her).

Lord, I pray that You would give Tricia the strength and healing she needs to be eligible for her transplants. You have already done amazing things in just a few short days and we trust that You will continue restoring her. Lord, please bless Gwyneth Rose today. Hold her close to You and help her to grow stronger day by day. Also, Lord, please encourage and fill Nate with your love and your peace.

Gracious Father, we Thank You for all that You have done & are doing in this situation, and Abba I am trusting that You will do as great of miracles as You did with our own niece & great-niece under similar circumstances back in May 2003.
Father, we Praised You then and we Praise You now of how You heal and calm in the midst of what the world says is impossible.
Thank you Jesus that You hold this Mama & precious little girl and indeed this entire family in the palm of You nail-scarred hands with a Love beyond measure.

Lord, I wish everyone who feels weak in their faith or is doubting You could just look Nate's website and see the wonders You have done for this family. Lord, thank You. Please use Tricia and Nate's testimony of Your love, compassion, mercy and healing to draw many to You. Please continue to heal Gwyneth and Tricia. Please allow Tricia to get strong enough for her transplant. Please bring the perfect donor(s). You, Lord, are simply amazing. Thank You, for the strength of character and the steadfastness Nate has shown in the face of all that has happened...we know it is because of You. Please continue to equip him and strengthen him. Please pray....Gwyneth may possibly be developing a serious intestinal condition and Tricia had a fever this morning and isn't feeling as well as she has been. You can read about it HERE.

Lord, You have been taking such good care of this precious mother and her tiny little one, and I want to thank You for Your continued mercy and grace in their lives. Lord please heal these new symptoms/conditions that have developed today. Please continue to strengthen Tricia...please take care of any infection that could be developing so that she might be strong enough for her lung transplants. Please heal Gwyneth's little tummy. Please hold them both especially close tonight and comfort Nate as I know he is concerned for his girls. We give you honor and glory for all that you have done, Lord. In Jesus' Name, amen.

Almighty God, I fall down on my knees to You Lord of how Awesome You are!!!
Dearest Abba, once again You show Your Mighty Majesty of how You work in our lives.
You knew early yesterday morning as I prayed in the pain thread that this sweet little child was needing prayer for intestional problems.
Lord, I was so confused as to why You led me to pray for intestional problems when I personally knew nobody afflicted with intestional conditions, and Lord off & on thruout the day it came into my spirit to keep lifiting up to You that concern, and Father I felt others were also praying for intestional concerns.
Lord, I Thank You and I Praise You that You were already working in the life of this precious little child!!!
Thank You Jesus and Thank You Holy Spirit for the miracles You will perform and the Peace & Comfort You will Provide to this child and this family!!!

Lord, thank you that Tricia was finally able to see her precious gift from you...her Gwyneth Rose. Thank you for the sweet moments they got to share together. Lord, I pray that very soon she and Nate will be able to hold her in their arms. Lord, I continue to pray for healing for Tricia that she might be well enough to undergo her transplants and I also pray that you would find the perfect donor for her. I also continue to pray that you would heal Gwyneth's intestines. Lord, You have done great and mighty things in this situation and I just want to express my heartfelt thanks. Nathan's wife is a beautiful testimony to how one person with a handicap can use it to glorify your name. Father, Abba, these are your children and they have entrusted their lives to your loving care. Shower your grace and mercy on them through this challenging ordeal. I ask this in the name of your beloved son, Jesus. Amen.
