Email notification of new PM (though I rarely use that email anymore so it doesn't do anything for me)
Save my login and password as Cookie (even though Dh clears the cookies every day)

What a kick. I'm figuring your avatar is of Nathaniel. I had to do a double take because he looks so much like my grandson Nathaniel. And one of my granddaughter's middle name is Grace.

I constantly go to the My Forums page to check for new posts. But to do that I discovered I have to check the box that says "notify me via email when someone replies" when I post. Even though I don't actually get the emails.
I definitely use the smileys.

Mainly I do it when I don't particularly want to have any interaction with anyone else:
(a) I could be time-pressed and just want to quickly check on a specific thread;
(b) I could be lurking and just want to quietly read.
If I'm doing one of the two above, and someone sees me online and says hi to me in a thread, it feels quite awkward for me to not acknowledge them, and it also seems rather rude.
I'm specifically talking about the times when someone says, "Hey Sharon-Marie; I see you lurking." -or- "Hey Sharon-Marie; I see you're reading this thread."
It's goes along the same premise as my not always answering when it rings; I may be busy doing something that would conflict with a telephone call, or I may just want to have some uninterrupted quiet time.

I voted Crosswalk & Singing News although lately I have only been using Crosswalk because I discovered they have a My Forums link at the bottom of the page and not just at the top like SN does.

I come in through crosswalk.com or faithcommunitynetwork.com, depending on what I'm doing. I don't care for the color schemes of some of the others.

I didn't realize there were so many either. Sometimes I end up at the other ones when I click on a link posted in someone's post but I've never liked the look of any of them. I'm probably just so used to crosswalk.

I use crosswalk. I knew that there was faith community but not all of the others. I do know that if I google my handle I get all these crosswalk posts...so be careful what you say incase you get googled.

Yes it is of Nathaniel. Grace is a popular name these days. I think there are 2 other Grace's around the same age that I know of in my town. :)

I use crosswalk now, but I used to use ccmmagazine.

I quit logging in through CW when they changed the forums layout. I used CCM for awhile, and iBelieve, but then I discovered Faith Community Network is the same colors as the old CW. I've been using it ever since.

I used to log in through crosswalk, when they changed their format I switched to Christianity.com because I cannot stand the sidebar advertisements on croswalk.

what advertisements are you talking about? there is one up the top of crosswalk, but i checked and its on christianity.com too.
