Probably 4-5 months old. She's only about 8 pounds now. She walks real prissy too, not in a bad way, but she walks really pretty. It's hard to describe. She's our Bengal. She's a hunter though, so she's fast. We had her declawed (I know, we didn't do that with the other 3) but she can still catch mice (and bunnies) We can't let her out anymore though because the cats from across the road come over now, and 3 of them live in our machine shed.

My Phoebe is very long and lean. She walks exactly like a lion or other big cat. I love watching her move around - so graceful.

What specific characteristics are Bengals known for? well, from a few different websites... The Bengal is developed from the crossing of an Asian Leopard Cat (Felis bengalensis) with a domestic breed, such as an Abyssinan, American Shorthair, Burmese, or Egyptian Mau. The first Bengal Cats were bred in 1963 by Jean Sugden Mills; and later in 1972, with eight female ALC-domestic offspring she acquired from the University of Calfornia. To belie its wild background, a Bengal is described as lively, playful, affectionate, and intelligent. The Bengal combines the exotic look and feel of the small forest-dwelling wild cats they descend from with the dependability and loving temperament of the domestic cat. She really is the sweetest cat we have. Very affectionate, one morning she woke me up at 6am grooming my hair. She loves to do that. But she is very naughty and likes to go to the bathroom in any plastic container we have. She's wrecked quite a few items. I don't think I could recommend the breed to anyone. One person that posts here says the only cat they have ever had to rehome was a Bengal. It's sad because she is really nice.

That's so sweet when cats are dogs are buds! I don't think it's going to happen here. One cat turns around and hisses at the dog if she gets too close, the other one runs. So the dog likes to chase him if they both are outside together. My son will lay down with his head next to one of our cats when he is grooming himself. Pretty soon the cat will be licking my son's hair. Dee

nd now we are getting called bad people because we didn't take the bunny to the vet for treatment! Garsy, you don't have to justify it. Taking it to the vet is just ridiculous. It's a rabbit, vermin, not a pet. I would not have taken it to the vet. Do these people not watch animal planet or Discovery? It's the way of the animal world.
