If you've got no proof, then you've got no point.
sugars put the body in an anabolic state for some minutes and then depress you and make you feel tired for hours. if the body has no reason to use the sugars for anything useful, it will turn them to fat.(useful being after working out, or during or right before you start)
whole wheat stuff is better. or eating very small amounts of sugars slowly. like if you have a chcoolate, take a bite every 5 minutes. that way it will last an hour or 2.
