Oh Penguin...you remembered about the flowers I am sooo much better now that you are here! How are you?

Of course I remembered! (*whew, glad I was right about that*)
I am doing pretty well. I need to get out and exercise more, though. We could take a stroll together, if you were here.

Oh Penguin! If I lived in FL I'd be all over ya

*blush* *warm fuzzies* *purr*

What? I realize you're not flirting with me but....

A penguin that purrs?!

I think I just figured out why John_O says he doesn't flirt.

I dunno I didn't get the purring penguin. I know I can be a little slow on the uptake.

That could be enough to throw me off flirting. Since it didn't make sense to me. It's kind of like reading someones profile and they have written things that don't make any sense. I would think the only time you would here a purring sound around a penguin was when a large cat decided the penguin was something to have for dinner.

ETA: A penguin would be a cats ideal meal like a bird and an fish rolled into one.

LOL - actually purring is a sign of contment, so, that's probably the reason for it in this case???????

OK I guess that makes sense since I have never had a cat and
<---- he doesn't purr, just wags his tail.

Penguins can make all sorts of interesting sounds. The African variety can bray like a donkey (hence a certain, ah, colorful nickname for them). And if you've ever seen March of the Penguins, some of the noises the Emperors make could approximate a purr.

Beakers, however, sound more like cooing Tribbles when they're content.

Incidentally, Skreyola != Penguin. WWH2 just calls me that because that's what's on my avatar. I don't think I've pretended to be an anthropomorphic penguin on any of these forum threads, so it's a little confusing how people seem to think I should act the part.
If I were an animal, I'd be more likely to be a fox or a cat than a penguin... and since I'm so tall... perhaps I'd be looongcat!

I'm sorry. If you lived closer, I'd have made a decision one way or the other. With the distance, I can't commit to the unknown.

But this is supposed to be a light-hearted thread.
