Hahaha!!! Ya, I love that. Definitely sounds like something my bff would say. If I'm making fun of myself, he gets so mad at me. [:D]

My husband and I celebrate our engagement anniversary as much or more than our regular anniversary. Perhaps because one year ten years ago as we were getting ready to relocate he took me out to dinner at a nice restaurant. He just happened to remember it was the last Friday in March. When the wine came he said from out of nowhere-HAPPY ENGAGEMENT ANNIVERSARY! I was stunned and melted. It was a happy coincidence, but it worked!

I know it isn't Valentine's Day anymore, but my husband and I will celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary this June so love abounds! He is, by far, the more romantic one.

He says sweet things to me all the time, but I think the sweetest thing he ever said to me was, "you look finer than a cold beer". [;)]

I've recently been going through a lot emotionally and tend to shut people out. I've shut out Kyoudai a lot and we were talking about it last night.

He said, "I may disapprove of what you do but I'll never disapprove of you." I told him it was easier said than done.

He said, "I can't prove it to you unless you give me a chance. Try me. I won't disappoint you."

Made me smile. [:D]

Random comments at surprising times are best.... ;-)

Example: DH and I were attending a professional function associated with my job. I hate these events because they make me very nervous. We walked into the main hall, DH looked around and then leaned over and whispered,"There's not a woman here that can hold a candle to you."

Needless to say, I had a smile on my face for the rest of the evening...

"You have the right to remain silent."

Not romantic or mushy but probably the sweetest thing anyone's ever said to me;

You were hard to get to know but it was worth it.

Hmm, I think a couple of the sweetest are:

Honey, let me wash the dishes tonight...

Sweetie, I'll get this cleaned up...

Hey, let's do that together...

Those say "love" to me.

That reminds me of when I went on my cruise earlier this year I came home and my house was clean and my fridge stocked. My best friend took care of all of that while we were gone and when I asked him why he said, "I wanted you to have one more night to relax before you went back to work."

Wasn't that sweet????? [:D]

Very sweet Tink!

For some reason that made me think of one time when I was "playing" with my boys - I said something like "I love you guys more than hot fudge sundaes or chocolate chip cookies!" My oldest son looked at the younger one and said "Wow, that's a lot, Mom!" [:D] [:D] [:D]

My guy said to me yesterday, "There's no need to compare yourself to other women when you already are incomparable."

Made my heart thump.

"I commend you."

this one guy burned me a cd and the song "crazy beautiful" by chasen was on there.. here are the lyrics..'

Everybody’s been there everyone’s the same
but mostly we don’t care isn’t that a shame
We bring us down face after face
the inside is beautiful but the outside we want to change.
We want to change.
Whoa you’re oh so beautiful, you don’t need anyone’s approval
You’ve got to believe in your self you know you are
You’re crazy beautiful
Well every new year you say your gonna change
From the way you live to how much you weigh,
we don’t want to change.
Whoa you’re oh so beautiful, you don’t need anyone’s approval
You’ve got to believe in your self you know you are
You’re crazy beautiful
Take a look it’s all around you
See the world from different views
The way you shine from the inside
I know with out a doubt
It’s more than what you’ll be
In the world’s eyes.
Whoa you’re oh so beautiful, you don’t need anyone’s a approval
You’ve got to believe in your self you know you are

You’re crazy beautiful
