Hahaha!!! Ya, I love that. Definitely sounds like something my bff would say. If I'm making fun of myself, he gets so mad at me.

My husband and I celebrate our engagement anniversary as much or more than our regular anniversary. Perhaps because one year ten years ago as we were getting ready to relocate he took me out to dinner at a nice restaurant. He just happened to remember it was the last Friday in March. When the wine came he said from out of nowhere-HAPPY ENGAGEMENT ANNIVERSARY! I was stunned and melted. It was a happy coincidence, but it worked! Frazzledmom

I've recently been going through a lot emotionally and tend to shut people out. I've shut out Kyoudai a lot and we were talking about it last night. He said, "I may disapprove of what you do but I'll never disapprove of you." I told him it was easier said than done. He said, "I can't prove it to you unless you give me a chance. Try me. I won't disappoint you." Made me smile.

Random comments at surprising times are best.... ;-) Example: DH and I were attending a professional function associated with my job. I hate these events because they make me very nervous. We walked into the main hall, DH looked around and then leaned over and whispered,"There's not a woman here that can hold a candle to you." Needless to say, I had a smile on my face for the rest of the evening...
