There are so many movies that I love to watch over & over, but I think that my ultimit one that always trumps anything else of I can catch it on TV or better yet if I ought to buy the movie is the Money Pit.I just can't seem to get enough of it.

Popeye - The live-action version w/ Robin Williams & Shelly Duvall. The only movie I've ever watched every day for over a week after getting a tape recording of it. This was years ago, and my brother would complain, "You're watching that again??" Hee! Still love it to this day and finally not too long ago got it on dvd. There are others I've watched and could watch numerous times over like the Star Wars films (namely ESB), LOTR films, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, The Incredibles, Urban Cowboy, Over the Hedge, Footloose, My Fair Lady to name a few.

Eight Men Out argh...I wouldn't mind seeing that movie again, but my DH is a HS teacher and when he taught English, he used to teach a unit using that movie. He has seen it soooo many times that he has the whole thing memorized and so I can't watch it without him talking along. It is definitely NOT on my list

Re-viewing movies is something that requires time between them. I saw Blazing Saddles many times and now it is so flat since all the sight gags are old. But the first four or five times they were as good as gold. Humor just doesn't have the same staying power that good dramas have. Saw "Rocky Horror" 42 times but it was the audience participation that made it worthwhile since I had memorized the dialogue and lyrics. I just re-viewed the first three Star Wars movies on TV and they held up well since I first saw them but even they will not maintain the same level of excitement if I were to see them over and over again.

currently, and i can not get enough of it is across the universe, for those who dont know what it is it is a musical that takes place during vietnam and the detroit race riots with the use of beatles songs, being sung by the cast. on the back of the dvd is a write up i agree with 'Its like putting on your fav album, playing it over and over. The only bad thing is some nudity, but it is contained artistically not gratuitlisly (however that words spelled) It mannages to capture the emotions of the times.

Beaches, Beaches, BEACHES That is one of the BEST movies of our time! It really is! It's that rare movie that everyone can enjoy. I got the Special Edition DVD and saw the video for Wind Beneath My Wings! IT WAS AWESOME! Definitely my favorite. I think it's the BEST movie of all time!
