Hey, Sharon, what are you doing riding SharMar's trike.

And what did you do with her basket?

If you look real close you can see her standing by the car in the background brushing herself off. She, um, "fell" off her trike and the basket popped and bent and is lying under the pine tree.
Being the friend I am, I told her I would take it for a ride and check out whether it was still sidewalk worthy after her "fall". I should have an answer for her in about, hmmmm, I'd say a month or so.

Hi Bill!

I tried to make your Eagle smile last night. LOL! It worked to a degree but the eyes went from angry to sad instead of looking happy.

Well perhaps if you hadn't taken a joy ride on my trike, you would have had more time to concentrate on your photo stuff.

I think Jim Henson was a total genius! I love the Muppets, Sesame Street, Fraggle Rock, and the Muppet Show! I just wish the Muppet Show dvd's weren't so expensive.

And on that note I gotta get to work. Hasta lumbago!

Yeah, maybe. But the urge to feel the wind in my hair was just too great.

Head out on that sidewalk

And whatever comes my way
Yeah Sharon' go make it happen
Take the world in a love embrace
Fire all of your guns at once
And explode into space...

Steppenwolf was about thirty years ahead of their time. What an amazing band.

Hey Sharon, Bill, Shar Mar, and Lisa!

Sharon, cute twist on the lyrics

Bill, that avatar is too funny!

It feels so good to be home from school when I'd normally be in class right now! I have to get started on study notes though, and finish up my 22 page paper. How fun! At least it's basically done other than some reformatting.

I got a frantic call this morning from one of my classmates. She left her flash drive in the computer in the lab on Wednesday and was hoping I had seen it and picked it up after she left. Poor thing. I feel sooooo bad for her. It has her three last computer projects she needs to submit by the end of today, and two final papers she had been working on on campus, and she backed none of that up on her home computer. It's scary to think a whole semester's worth of GPA can be sitting on such a teeny device. Most professors won't accept late final papers and in many classes, not turning it in means instant failure of the course. I sure hope she miraculously finds it, or the professors have some mercy on her.

And to think that someone would likely steal it just for the thumb drive.

I know. It's infuriating. I guess it happens often in the labs. The port for the drives is behind a little door that has to be closed to get the keyboard in place, so it's easy to forget it's in there. I keep my case for it on the top of the computer so I see it when I close down. Some people turn them in when they find them and the students can get them back...most steal them. It's not the jump drive that matters. It's the work on it. Mine easily represents at least 60 hours of work, and that's just in two classes I use it for. it's annoying that people, especially other students, give no thought to how upsetting it would be to lose that work. Like that's worth $20-30

Poor girl. I hope she gets it back.

How's everybody doing this weekend?
