Oh well, if I didn't get it, it's likely that others are stuck on that too.

Oh you can count on that! I'm surprised they are even covering that in that math class.

I guess I just don't understand what it means to be a certain number above or below SD and how to figure it

I figure out that by using Cohens D, but that's a whole other stats class!

I'm sure you'll get it.

Prayed a prayer for the Steve!

I know it's frustrating when something just doesn't "click".
I recommend that you eat some cornbread and a big hunk of chocolate.
That may help.

Heehee...thanks, Sharon! I skipped that part. It was only the reading assignment, but I was trying to figure out the concepts that we will go over in class anyway. The prof will explain it all.

But anyway. I am completely done with all my homework and reading for the week! I'll probably do a little review skimming of my notes over the next few days, just to remember.

I have neither cornbread or chocolate here.

No wonder that other stuff doesn't make any sense!!

I've been keeping Midgie Tootsie Rolls in the house. That has worked really well for me.
Don't know what that has to do with anything we've been talking about, but I just now found it imperative that I tell you that.

It's at Sonic...it's soft serve ice cream blended with candies or other toppings. I get Oreos usually. It's very yummy!

I want one, but we don't have Sonic here. Oh wait. I think I remember that they built one out in the suburbs.

Steve...it sounds like just another knockoff of a DQ Blizzard. Do you have a DQ near you?

ETA, because I know how some feel about DQ , or is there a local place that sells custard and has the candy and cookie stuff to mix in? We have a place hear called Culvers and they have a "blizzard" version too.

Yep, I have a DQ within walking distance! It's been too cold to think about that though.

LOLOLOL - I HATE the humidity. I can take it to about 85 with low humidity. Once that kicks in, I start getting sick very easily.

I hate humidity as well! However, I have heard of the flipside of humidity though, and I am not sure if that is much better at all either.

Sonic is one of the few places close to me. I was thinking about stopping there tomorrow for breakfast since the house has no bagels and no cereal. They have Java Chillers there now too (like Dairy Queen's Moo Latte )

It is supposed to get to the high 80's here later this week! Oh please, weather people, don't change your minds! I want to go outside in my summer clothes and actually feel warm!

Mike, what is the flipside of humidity?

I personally absolutely love weather with as little humidity as possible. It's one of the things I miss about Jackson.

Sonics's Java Chillers are disgusting! I tried one thinking it would be blended like Starbucks and every other coffee place with frozen blended coffees. It wasn't. They pour cold coffee straight over a cupful of ice(no blending or anything) then top it with whipped cream and chocolate syrup. Whipped cream sitting on top of plain ice is just gross. Those drinks need to be blended, for heaven's sake!

I was in Georgia one July when it was sooooo humid it fogged sunglasses when you walked outside! I didn't find 90 degrees and 90% humidity any more uncomfortable than I find scorching heat we get here at home. Once it hits 108 and up, it's miserable, dry or not. I stay in with the A/C as much as possible either way!

I have my statistical analysis final today at 11. Prayers on my behalf would be soooo appreciated! It's a tough class and I'm stressing. It's a 2 hour final and she made sure we knew we'd most likely need every minute. Oy!

Thank you guys for the prayers. The final was kind of a fiasco with losing internet campus wide in the middle and all that fun stuff, but I got through it. We'll see what happens!

Please pray for Britt and her husband. He just got deployment orders today and is shipping out Friday

Wow, that stinks that Britt's hubby was deployed, but I guess it's all a part of the deal. They sure don't give much time to get affairs in order before shipping out.

I'm glad you survived the final without any major injuries.
