What is objectionable about the Bratz dolls. My friend's daughter loves them and they seem to stand for positive things. Besides, they'll never get addicted to crack or get pregnant. Surely you jest? Bratz the hooker. Bratz the junkie. Bratz the Motley Crue groupie. At least that's what they look like to me. And those annoying voices.... Mind you they do rock.

Miley should have used better judgement, but she just couldn't say no to Annie. Well, I can and her parents should have as well. They were there. Billy Ray needs to get his sagging career going instead of making money off his daughter.

From what I read...Billy Ray and Miley's Mom left sometime during the photo session, however, her teacher and Grandma stayed. Jamie Lee Curtis also got in the recent situation because of what AARP did with her photo shoot. Her parents should have been there because she's a minor and Vanity Fair has been in the spot lately in misquoting interviews with celebrities and having to trust them with a photo shoot....not a good decision. However, Miley knew what has happened was wrong and she apologized and that takes a lot of guts from a teenager-- actually even with grown ups and sad to say, Christians, to acknowledge when someone's wrong and apologize.

We do have to remember, she is just 15. She can't be expected to make grown up decisions on her own. I think it was a deliberate set-up on the photographer's part & her parents should have never left during any part of this. kd

It's a stupid thing from the start and its all their faults. What else are you going to expect from Vanity Fair?

ORIGINAL: PhrozenPhoenix 'Cause everybody makes mistakes" There's a difference between making a mistake and purposely walking into one. An unwise decision... sometimes especially with stuff like photo shoots and acting. I stuck my nose in this "business" briefly and its VERY easy to be persuaded to do something you end up thinking about later and think maybe that was a bad move. I can see why so many stars stumble and fall. You have lots of people around, it's exciting, you're throwing around ideas etc. And then the pictures come out 10x better than you think they would be. All done up etc. I could see someone her age getting caught up in all of this and not really know exactly what the photographers intentions are (even Jamie Lee Curtis recently had a little squable about her last photo shoot). Plus those photos looked way touched up to make them look much more sensual. I could see her looking at the final done up photo afterwards and thinking, yuck. Doesn't excuse her no, and she hopefully learns from this. At least shes saying sorry, admitting she messed up and not "you're gonna have to say hello to the girl that I am!" *coughBritneySpearscough*.

I was very disappointed since I started this post and was singing her praises. I definitely fault the parents and especially the photographer. I was particularly disturbed with picks of her laying on Billy's lap. The girl is underage and has a HUGE following of teens and preteens. However, we shouldn't be so quick to cast stones...you do remember what JESUS did with a woman caught in adultery. Mercy and grace has bee extended to all of us. We need to PRAY for them instead of throwing them under the bus. LOVE covers a multitude of sins...including our own.

What's wrong with her laying on her daddy's lap? Obviously, I object to the others. . .

I saw the Hayley/Billy Ray picture and I guess I'm one of the few who did not see anything wrong with it. The blame game-- in the real world, I think the photographer would be questioned more knowing that she's 15. If Miley is a regular girl and you have an unknown photographer...let's say male photographer....I'm going to assume that someone will be questioning the photographer but we have a 'supposedly' well known photographer here - Annie Leibovitz- that everybody's praising on her past work- mainly women and some were nekkid. Nobody questioned her professionalism on her work with a 15 year old girl.

I have heard it in the media, mostly by male correspondents that they didn't like the pictures either of Billy w/ Miley. They way they are posed & dressed just give them a bad look. There have been of photos of them together that never look in bad taste. I've heard there were photos of her posing w/ a boy too, but I haven't seen them. kd

I was forced to listen to a few of "their" "songs" and my friend has watched the TV show with his tween daughter. I noticed no Bratz selling sex for money, snorting coke, smoking crack or injecting heroin and they probably don't even know who Motley Crue is (another point for them ha ha). Loks can be deceiving. I'm not crazy about the way they are dressed but trust me if my friend found anything objectionable at all about them he wouldn't let his daughter watch. He is most definitely negatively disposed to modern pop culture of which the Bratz fit to a T. But he lets her watch because despite the way a few of them are dressed they encourage teamwork, loyalty and friendship in the cartoon (which has disappeared, the 4Kids block is useless anyway but at least his daughter liked Bratz, now its recycled, repeated stuff not worthy the first time it was on, oops, an unrelated rant LOL).

that everybody's praising on her past work- mainly women and some were nekkid. Nobody questioned her professionalism on her work with a 15 year old girl. I've heard a little questioning of her and if this story goes further there will be more I'm sure. Having a history and a body of work will get you the benefit of the doubt, as it should be. That doesn't mean she should slide or did nothing wrong but its perfectly appropriate to consider her past history concerning this issue. As far as the photos, from what I saw there were a few Miley shouldn't have taken. I can't lay too much of the blame on a 15 year old. She was listening to her parents and Disney (I'm sure Disney knew about it and approved regardless of what they say, multimillion dollar properties are watched at all times) which is what she should do. Usually these teen stars get in trouble when they don't listen to their elders. A mistake in judgment was made, Miley apologized, I said a prayer and I'm not going to think much about it any more (no need, I have no kids). Parents have to decide whether they'll continue to support Hannah Montana but aside from that holding on to the issue and continuing the "Miley shouldn't have done that" will most likely ensure she does worse. Idon't think anyone has ever been condemned into righteousness. Supporting her or just letting go is the best bet to keep Miley Cyrus on the right path. That is what we want, right?
