Nathan took a few steps at 8 months, which was cute, but that only means he was tearing around the house a month later! [:o] I don't like walkers, either. I agree with you that stationary play centers are better, and there's evidence that walkers actually slow a baby's development. My parents certainly believe that it slowed my brother and I's development, but eventually we did learn to walk.[;)]
