lexie,

To be honest, I've never really noticed before - will have to keep a look-out in future.

I watched last week's 'How to look good naked' tonight (video) ~ Gok is so funny (saying he was going to be bridesmaid!) and I've never seen him cry before ~ sweet .

I also noticed Mr Ramsay won an award for 'Ramsay's kitchen nightmares'. Wonder what he had to say about that.

Lexie, some series are really short ~ sometimes they put out 2 series in one year though.

Yes, he was funny saying that.

And my dd and I were really amazed (and moved) that he cried. We so love Gok.

We still don't have any new episodes of how to look good naked. I wonder if the british version is on BBCA. I'll have to look

As a Englishman I have just spent an enjoyable evening reading 33 pages of sometimes very funny comments on different subjects. But how did a question on petrol, end up with Dr Who?

It would seem we are both rather inquisitive about the other's cultural terminology, movies, TV programs and such.

Oh my, that is the most annoying thing in the world to me! Even when I set Microsoft Word to the Canadian English, it still sets itself back to American English and then tells me I'm wrong on a whole lot of words.

It's Microsoft and Mac - both "American" companies.

I'm not sure if they're capable of getting it right.

It's because we use the new and improved spellings here.

Put it down to a cunning plan.

Did you watch Waking the Dead yesterday Manda? I was more hooked than usual and can't wait for tonight's episode.

I watched the thing about the doctor who hears voices... I had major issues with her therapist...

I know many of are not big fans of Wire in the Blood...but I'm getting hooked. I watched a 2 hour episode last night I had recorded that was very intriguing.

Course, it was followed by BBCA Real TV with a story about men who have actual relationships with...dare I say...blow up dolls??? All I saw were the previews of which I promptly fast-forwarded through.

What in the world? I nearly choked on my tea when I saw that.

Nothing much...

Just an American saying that American companies are incapeable of getting things right

I'm joking.... I'm sure that there are plenty of good American companies out there...

Let me think...

Uh Manda?

I know one American company that does a pretty good job of getting things right

Question is, do you know the company I'm thinking of?
