Maybe, I think I've been very clear that I know thats possible. I try not to be clueless or delusional. In that particular quote I was just speculating why the interaction dips after seeing members of her family and picks up again after they go back to Michigan (or she comes back to Florida). Saying that she interacts only when she is lonely is basically saying she is disinterested. Thinking out loud is all.

In case anyone was wondering things are kinda stagnant right now. Haven't seen her in weeks, exchanged a couple of messages on MySpace. So no movement forward or backward.
I still wouldn't mind going somewhere with her at some point but I'm not really pursuing it right now. Other life issues and such.
The feedback was helpful and may be more helpful in the future.

Just read thru this thread....One question is why she can internet chat with you but say nothing in public? Could be the age difference...She does not chat while family members are visiting...Could be she feels that her family memeber would not approve...Personnaly I would leave her alone...if she can only chat via internet and not in person...Reminder you are a bit older than she...perhaps she may not be as mature for you.

I won't say anything about the maturity (I'm a young 38 and she's an older 25) but I've been thinking the same thing you are. I'm pretty much going to let it lie for now, make the occasional comment, not disappear but otherwise not try to advance things right now. Perhaps an opportunity will surface later, if not then not.

Just checking in, its pretty much a dead issue. Haven't seen her at church (she wasn't going when I was there, now I'm kinda grounded with a toe thing I have oto stay off so I'm not there) and no contact online so it appears nothing will come of it.
I'm a bit disappointed but I was kinda expecting it so its not a big deal.
