ORIGINAL: nicole6598 Kara I would go more expensive too! I had a rude pay tv salesman come around yesterday. Because we have that national "do not call" list, they start coming around to your house instead! I answered the door, saw his shirt and knew what he wanted. This was the conversation MAN "I have a great deal for you today!" Me " not interested thanks" going to close door MAN " You haven't even heard the deal, you won't want to miss it" Me "no thanks" MAN " you can watch all you want for free for 2 months" Me " We don't watch that much tv" MAN "do you own a tv" Me "yes" MAN rolling his eyes at me "so you own a tv but you don't watch it" sarcastically rolling eyes again. Me "yep, no thanks, bye". He walked off grumpily. I should of stopped him the first sentence. I have a mind to call his company and complain! Nicole, what have I told you about owning a tv and not watching it 24/7? Shame on you! [8D] LOL Lexie! [:D] I am laughing about both of your stories Rachel, your relative sounds pleasant. [8|] quote:
One time a man came to our door selling magazines. When Mom didn't want to order any he starting ranting and raving about how the people in the neighborhood could afford these nice homes but they couldn't afford to buy some magazines. HUH?! It kind of freaked Mom out a bit because there had been a case or two of women being raped by men coming to the door selling things like that. That would make me feel nervous too... Yeah, I wish the ladies at that restaurant would have just treated my grandma like she treated them... It was the worst when we were in public with my great grandma (her mom) She was always SO rude to her and treated her like a child. I hated that. When my great grandma lost her mind (she imagined stuff all the time and thought she was still married to the younger version of her husband) she never remembered my grandma... but she always remembered who I was! [:)] It drove my grandma crazy, but why would her mom want to remember a daughter who was mean to her for the last few years of her life? I was always nice to her and she remembered me because my cousin and I made a picture book for her when we were both quite young that she looked through all the time.
