Playing cards is a lot of fun. My kids learned to count playing cards! Spending an evening with friends or family playing cards is great for relaxing and socializing. People used to get together with neighbors or families for game nights, whether cards or board games, and I think we've lost something in no longer doing social things for fun like that.
