We need a fun thread around here....so here it is!!!!

It came up in the SAHM/W support thread that a certain poster...HisCovenant....doesn't want to revel her own name (perfectly fine!!!) so I suggested we have a game to "name" her with our own name!!! So that's what this thread is for. Any suggestions on a name? then we will start a poll in a few days with the suggestions. So what name do you think our resident former decorator and wonderful friend should go by?

ETA....
I went ahead and added a poll for this question, then we will change it in a few days. The question is....should the name be a "serious/nice" name or a "playful/fun" name?

My all-time favorite female name is Katherine. It means "pure". I think that would be a nice name for Ms. Covenant.

I voted "serious nice sounding" because she is always very thoughtful in her responses, they aren't written with harsh words or with judgement and she also has good advice too. She needs a strong, sort of name I think. But also caring...

I vote for a fun name, but I don't know what yet.

While I agree that she is sweet, I like fun names!!! Things you would normally see on here...Kathryn is pretty (on my baby names list actually!!!) but there are too many already.

I also vote NOT NICOLE OR LISA!!!!!!!!!!!!(again, too many of y'all already!!!)

Consecrated to God is named Lisa. I know that. I think we have a few Kim's too.

I like the name Olivia, but it doesn't have a special meaning.

I didn't know the other's real names, I knew the new poster was Lisa. Yeah Jennifer's there are a few of two.
I love olivia, that's what my cabbage patch doll was called, because I used to love Olivia Newton JOhn [:D]

This is cool! My dH just agreed that we would stop preventing pregnancy in April, once Nathan turns a year old and now that my thyroid levels are normal.

I can use this thread to get name ideas! [8D][8D]

Hmmmm, I like the name Olivia...

but let's shorten it...like Livi...or something cutsie.

Maybe a Mitzi or a Cindi, with an I.

Isn't she sweet to let us name her? I always wanted to add an E to me middle name. It is Lynn, but I thought LynnE looked more sophisticated. [8|]

I think she should go by her middle name like Sideways Ruth.....Well, OK that wouldn't be as fun though. I vote Zipporah! That was Moses' wife. I also had a cat named that, so I'm kinda partial to it. We could call her Zippy for short![:D]

I have always thought of HisCovenant as having a name that started with "R" for some reason. Maybe because of another "His" poster that has a name that starts with an "R".

I always think of hiscov as being a classy lady. I think she needs a sophisticated name like Cassandra, Alexandra, Angelica, Constance, or Mercedes.

LOL -- that's my dd's name, and I was just talking about her yesterday in the HS thread!! That's probably why!!

(And the # of times people argue with us about the spelling -- they don't believe it is ILENE -- they swear it should be EILEEN!!!)

Since someone already made reference to Anne of Green Gables (and the name Cordelia) -- what about Marilla??? She was a very level-headed woman with a good heart, who had Biblically based wisdom for everyone when it was required ... and still had time to keep house and have a pot of tea ready for company!!!
