Please excuse a newbie for jumping in, but my husband has a pink t-shirt that says "Tough Enough to Wear Pink".

I really like pink dress shirts on guys. Shows they're confident in their manliness!

Even though he's only 8, Thing 2 looks good in pink. Thing 1 does not. So I buy more pink for Thing 2 than Thing 1. Thing 2 has pink shirts that says, "Real men wear pink" and "Tougher than you". *grin*

A man's perspective here... I happen to be wearing a pink polo shirt as I type this. It is a Ralph Lauren, I happen to be wearing it with a pair of Navy Blue/ dark pink or even light red pinstripped dress pants. I also happen to own a three piece suit that is gray and white or even light pink pin stripped that I wear with a pink french cut dress shirt with white cuffs and a white colar. Over the shirt I wear a pink and gray stripped tie, the stripes on the tie are about and inch and a quarter thick each and run diagnal from upper right to lower left. Over the tie and for the french cut cuffs I use a diamond encrusted tie bar and cuff links to match. I get several compliments from several people.

A soft pastel pink shirt...great...pink polos great....However, if one skin tone is very pale then the pink would blend instead of complimenting.

I for one do not like pink because it reminds me of a little girl[:D]

My husband looks great in pink! He's naturally pretty tan so he can really pull it off. I guess all those Native American genes really help!
He always says he's secure enough in his manhood to wear pink. He does it well too!

Couldn't it all be a personal thing. IF you are a guy and you find a pink shirt you like, then wear it. I wore a peach polo shirt out to a stock car racing event. If a girl doesn't like me because of that, which I doubt any girl would reject a guy just for that, then who cares.

It has nothing to do with being a guy, it has to do with your coloring. Tan people look good in pink. Redheads, like me, usually don't. Other colorings are on a case by case basis. I will wear light pink once in a great while just because I like it, and I don't want to be bound by all the fashion rules all the time, but I generally try to stay away from it. Although, I don't like it when non redheads talk about redheads looking bad in pink in a cruelly critical way, like we don't have feelings.

Aren't there different shades of pinks that different skin tones/ hair colors look good in? I imagine redheads looking spectacular in a warm salmon pink.

I think it takes the right guy to pull off pink.
and I don't like preppy outfits with pink in them.
For instance, Phil Joel, Nathan Currin(nadaddy from family force 5), and Jacob Olds(crouton, also from ff5) all wear pink very well.

I think pink looks good on just about anyone, unless maybe if your hair is pink too. That might be slight overkill.

Pink is sterotyped as a "girls" color, which is a shame. All those men out there who will never know if they look good in pink or not!

My boys won't go near it, and even though I am a tomboy through and through, I love pink![sm=thumbsup.gif]
