I just want you all to know that I got a thank you card from my 13 year old cousin and he thinks I'm really cool.

I have a Nintendo boxed up in the garage, probably one of the first ones made.

Kerrlaw,
Is there room for any cars in your garage? You are always mentioning things that are "packed up in the garage" . Maybe its time for a yard sale? (Actually, I'm such a pack rat, I have no room to discuss this subject at all!)

I'm different. I'm watching Monk... Actually, since it's now 7pm, I need to change the channel.... It's amazing how many channels you can have and still not have anything to watch....

Monk

I loved tonight's episode, which I had not seen.

It is the only series that I watch regularly.
It's still on????

I can see getting one of those and removing the wings and making it a permanent fixture and making a home out of it.... I think it would be pretty interesting.

Put that up on cement blocks, and I think I have seen it before. In the background of a news report after a tornado where the woman (with no teeth and poor hygiene) was mad because the tornado blew through her residence and her cigarettes got wet. You think I'm making this up, don't you?

Shouldn't this thread title be in ALL CAPS? It don't look right.

I'm trying to be more of a minimalist.

Have you told the Mrs.? I'm sure she'd appreciate it.

More importantly, what does this do for all the stuff you have packed in the garage?

He is a house minimalist. The garage is a different story.

A lot of excitement in the Atlanta area last night, with the wind storm and the damage to the Georgia dome. Hope all in that area are okay.

We've got a lot of excitement right now. It's north of Atlanta (and me, too) but it's very bad. We're discussing in prayer thread.

The latest season just recently ended, but yep! I actually own seasons 1-5 on DVD. It's nice to watch someone who makes my quirks seem pretty normal....

Kerr--- I thought of you when we were driving downtown and passed the Georgia Tech basketball collesium! There were LOTS of people waiting to get inside when we passed by at about 11am. I heard that Georgia beat Kentucky, but I haven't heard any other results.

We have a large two car garage, but all the cars sit outside.

We have given away several truck loads of stuff, but haven't yet made room for a car. We probably wouldn't put them in the garage anyway. Too much trouble trying to keep the cats in (the garage is connected to the house by a glassed in porch where the cats like to stay).

One side is set up as a gym and the other has yard stuff, grill, Mrs. Kerrlaw's school stuff, washer/dryer, etc. Our only hope is to add on.

I've always said we need a small house and a large barn.

Well, I know the kitties would like it if you had a barn... think of the mice!

Kerrlaw,

Question for you.

If the speed of light is 186,000 miles per second, what is the speed of dark?

And:

Why do psychics have to ask for your name?

Kerrlaw: Sorry about the TN results, but they are in the tourney anyway for sure. Probably affects their seeding, though. I cannot believe the Illini are still alive and playing for Big 10 championship this afternoon. It is unlikely they can beat Wis., but there have already been a bunch of strange things happen in conference tourneys this year. Maybe we will be back home in time to watch it.

Kerrlaw...

I've been pondering. Maybe you'll know the answer!

How much wood could a woodchuck chuck? If a woodchuck could chuck wood.
