Horseradish is good on sliced beef. Mustard if good on brats, hot dogs and ham.


Mustard and ketchup and good on hamburgers.

There's something so soothing and reassuring about sitting outside in the evenings, drinking sweet iced tea out of sweaty glasses while enjoying some friendly conversation with neighbors and friends. I'm really starting to wonder if the sweet iced tea isn't a southern thing, lol. At our family reunion, there's always two coolers full of tea - the unsweet tea doesn't disappear at near the rate the sweet tea does.

Status: offline 		The first time I ever tasted sweet tea was in a Tennessee restaurant while on a business trip, 5 or 6 years ago. I sent it back because I thought their tea had gone bad. When the second glass was just as awful, she explained it was sweet tea, so I ordered a diet coke.

Status: offline 		Sweet Ice Tea is a Southern Thing. You don't get it up north. I used to drink both tea and coffee sweet. Tried cutting back on sugar, cause I like ice cream and strawberry shortcake. Think pigs feet is also a Southern Thing. Remember growing up and killing hogs, we didn't let nothing but the squeel go to waste.

Status: offline 		Excuse me! I must stop this thread! I am in pure shock that you all talked and talked about peanut butter - discussing Jiff and Peter Pan and other abominations and I didn't see anyone discuss the only real peanut butter out there:

Adams Crunchy. Hello people? Adams! Wake up! Sheesh! I'm glad I was able to rescue this thread from peanut butter pergatory....

And an Adam's crunchy peanut butter and honey sandwich is divine. I've also been known to eat spoonfuls of PB all by itself. God bless the inventor of Adams PB!


By the way, here is one yankee who can't stand unsweetened tea. I used to think when people had that it was a mistake. They had forgotten to add the sugar...
