I would expect the same of you, if you are so much more mature than I am. It's called "basic forum etiquette." And before you celebrate over my "defeat," it is nothing of the sort. I simply don't have the time to respond to such a ridiculous thing as your post; I have scholarship applications I need to work on.
OK. How about 20 rock or punk bands? 10? Is that a more doable challenge? As far as naming 100 band with a bass player, just go to any music website like i-tunes or Napster look at a list of bands under the rock and/or alternative genres and there you have it! 99.9% of the bands listed have a bass player.
Telling bass players they are unnecessary is insulting. I would never suggest a guitar player was unnecessary. They are very necessary! I just wish that certain guitar players would return the courtesy!
