phosadaud -> Is eating pizza a sin? (3/22/2008 10:48:24 AM)

OK, since I have such evil friends, I had to post this question being the heathen that I am....

This question comes to you thanks to:

armydude
WhiteRoseBlessings
utilityfielder
belovedhandmaiden

And any of my other heathen friends who have forced me to give in to temptation... [8D]

WhiteRoseBlessings -> RE: Is eating pizza a sin? (3/22/2008 10:51:20 AM)

Oh come on now, Phosy.

You know you wanted to do.

Don't compound the sin of eating pizza with the sin of blaming others. [8D]

WalkingwithHim2 -> RE: Is eating pizza a sin? (3/22/2008 10:53:21 AM)

If said pizza has any type of fish as a topping then it is a sin. If said pizza is of the large size and you do not share...it is a sin. If said pizza is cold and you offer to share....you are committing a sin. If said pizza is my fav and you do not share...we are both sinners...you for not sharing and me for coveting my neighbors pizza.

phosadaud -> RE: Is eating pizza a sin? (3/22/2008 11:29:28 AM)

Personally, I think anything that can be used to harrass your friends is not sinful....

Unless of course, I am the friend you are trying to harrass... [sm=nosestuckup.gif]

And I do agree. Fish on pizza is very sinful. In fact, I would go so far as to say that there should be a law against it. [8D]

WhiteRoseBlessings -> RE: Is eating pizza a sin? (3/22/2008 11:31:24 AM)

Oh I see. By the tone of your post, you obviously put obeying laws on a higher order than abstaining from sin.

rcjames -> RE: Is eating pizza a sin? (3/22/2008 11:34:45 AM)

Pizza would only be a sin if it did not have anchovies and onions on it.

Thanks
RC

phosadaud -> RE: Is eating pizza a sin? (3/22/2008 11:36:53 AM)

Well, if it's illegal, you are sinning twice: not only by doing the initial sin, but by not submitting to the governing authorities.

Ps103 -> RE: Is eating pizza a sin? (3/22/2008 11:40:24 AM)

I will share a pizza with RC[:D]

Pizza is only a sin if you eat it when it is very hot and scream out Saxon words when it burns the top of your mouth.

WhiteRoseBlessings -> RE: Is eating pizza a sin? (3/22/2008 11:44:13 AM)

"saxon words"
[sm=Llol.gif][sm=Llol.gif][sm=Llol.gif]

Now I'm picturing Bette Davis eating pizza while being dressed up in Old World clothing. [sm=vikingsmile.gif]

phosadaud -> RE: Is eating pizza a sin? (3/22/2008 11:45:09 AM)

A pastor and a moderator both blatantly admitting their sin - and neither seems the least bit remorseful... [sm=shakinghead.gif]

What is the world coming to? [:(]

Ps103 -> RE: Is eating pizza a sin? (3/22/2008 11:47:20 AM)

It means we get all the anchovies! Life is good![:D]

Marcus. -> RE: Is eating pizza a sin? (3/22/2008 11:48:46 AM)

Anyone who reads the Bible correctly, knows that it is a sin to put fish on a pizza. [sm=nosestuckup.gif][:D][sm=nosestuckup.gif][:D][sm=nosestuckup.gif][:D]

I believe if you will study the original Greek, you will find that this refers specifically to sardines.

Memaw. -> RE: Is eating pizza a sin? (3/22/2008 1:08:29 PM)

Eating pizza is only a sin when you know I am hungry.[8D]

The perfect pizza has sausage, pepperoni, beef, onions, bell peppers and smothered in cheese!

Doc65 -> RE: Is eating pizza a sin? (3/22/2008 1:08:58 PM)

Ps103, you're absolutely right:

1 Sicilians 3:1, in the original Greek, reads:

"me genoito, opsarion epi ton pizza mou", which translates to "let it not be, tiny fish upon my pizza"[8|]

I'm still trying to find to find where it says anything about cold, frosty beer going with pizza...oh, no, THAT would be a sin, wouldn't it?[sm=eek.gif]

Aren't anchovies another name for sardines? Or at least their first cousins?

phosadaud -> RE: Is eating pizza a sin? (3/22/2008 1:35:45 PM)

I don't know but they are both disgusting so I'm sure there must be a sin involved either way...

phosadaud -> RE: Is eating pizza a sin? (3/22/2008 1:48:47 PM)

I will admit that I have bought sardines before and ground them up as part of ceasar salad dressing, however, that's different... [8D]

utilityfielder -> RE: Is eating pizza a sin? (3/22/2008 1:50:17 PM)

Eeeeewwwww. [8D]

As you can tell, I am not much of a fish easter.

phosadaud -> RE: Is eating pizza a sin? (3/22/2008 1:54:54 PM)

I'm not either, but it actually doesn't taste fishy... Hence the ONLY reason I'd do it... [:D]
