If eating pizza is a sin, I sinned tonight.

I appreciate your confession.

Did you save some pizza for me? If not, then that's another sin.

I had one piece for me and one for you. I hope you like green peppers, red onions, and mushrooms.

Now - are you gonna claim the calories in that one piece, too?

I am going to the store to buy some pizza, amoung the rest of my groceries.

I am sinning in two threads. But at least I am not wearing a blue shirt. Although I was given a free blue shirt today.

Look lady . . . if I didn't get to taste the calories, then I ain't claiming 'em neither.

But I do thank you for eating a slice on my behalf.

I'm thinking I may have to follow the crowd and sin as well. Pizza sounds yummy right now!

Thanks. :)

Please, answer a few questions for me. Do you believe that our Master will return to rule and reign for one thousand years? Do you think that He will eat ham and pineapple pizza if it is offered to Him when He comes back?

I don't know if He likes pineapple.

I guess that's why you didn't order any earlier today for that pizza that your were supposedly eating on my behalf.

To avoid pizza-sinning, thou shalt eat only the most perfect of pizzas.

The perfect pizza is without blemish, perfect and near holy - meaning cheese ONLY! so as not to contaminate itself. It is large sized, thin crusted, topped with only mozzerella cheese and round shaped with triangle slices.

The perfect pizza should also be made with unleavened pizza dough (that would be minus the yeast for you White Rose... ) at least I think that's what unleavened means.

I had my perfect pizza last night...with a nice glass of chianti.

can I say chianti in here?

ONLY cheese? No tomatoes sauce?

And btw, Connie, you may not know this, but since I like you, I'm going to let you in on a little secret . . . it is a sin to use a word if you're not absolutely 100% sure of it's meaning.

Unleavened indeed.

I am back from the store, I have prepaired and eaten my pizza and I liked it. And I had some chocolate for desert.

According to Acts 10:9 - 16 it would be no problem.

Jesus, as a Jew, followed the dietary laws. I, as a Gentile, am not required to do so. See Acts 15:1-29 as a reference.

For y'all in Canada, McCain's makes a GREAT spiced chicken and spinach pizza. It's on a thin, multigrain crust. It's YUMMY!

Or was it Delissio? Oh, great - now I can't remember.

That passage does not say that you are exempt from keeping His Law. Everyone who breaks His Law is sinning (1 John 4:3).

In the words of Our Lord and Savior, Himself . . .

"Are you still so dull?," Jesus asked them. "Don't you see that whatever enters the mouth goes into the stomach and then out of the body? But the things that come out of the mouth come from the heart and these make a man 'unclean.' For out of the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, sexual immorality, theft, false testimony, slander. These are what makes a man 'unclean'; but eating with unwashed hands does not make him 'unclean'." Matthew 15:16-20.

The dietary laws of the OT were about clean and unclean food. Jesus declared that no longer would food be considered clean and unclean; it was a actually person's heart that was clean or unclean.

I believe that is called unwelcome counsel. We do not allow that here.

Sure you can! :) I think a glass of sangria would be good with pizza too. My son in law is from spain and he made the most wonderful sangria. I am not a red wine drinker but I sure liked that.

I just made pizza tonight. I'm sad to say I had a ginger ale with it though.

Well, I'm just not in the mood to run out and get pizza and the only pizza in my fridge is the cheap frozen kind that just isn't the same and I'm really not in the mood for delivery because it costs twice as much... So, sadly, I will just have to sin another night...

Sigh...
