Well, I definitely don't want you to be sad! Train or no train, Kath, you're on my list of people that I want to meet.

But I want to share the love.... And hug someone other than me!
That would be the perfect post to put in the remarriage thread.

Wow! 3 of us in one thread! Guess I'm not as unique as I thought!

After this winter, I just want to find someplace on this warm that is warm most of the time.

Move to Phoenix. That's where my brother and his family live. We've spent Christmas down there in shorts and tshirts...

Personally, I think that's wrong. Christmas' should at least have the possibility of snow...

To answer all the posts at once. I love to drive. I also love to fly. But I've never been fond of the idea of living (or vacationing) on an island. One thing about Hawaii intrigues me. It is home to the world's tallest mountain (note that I didn't say highest point as that distinction still belongs to Mount Everest). Mauna Kea is over 33,000 feet tall (most of which is under the Pacific Ocean), while Mount Everest is only 29,000 feet. I'd like to see Mauna Kea, but that would be the only reason to go to Hawaii for me.

Kenny Chesney has a song about a white (sand) Christmas. I'm with you though. As much as I dislike snow, I'd have to say Christmas without it would be... well it'd be WRONG!

I have become quite fond of the Rio Grande Valley of Texas, althought I would give Pheonix a shot. It is a spring training spot after all.

Loverly said she's busy making the pizza (which will have the magic ability to pass through the computer just like your cornbread)...

Do you think that He likes to eat ham?

I know what you're getting at and I deliberately ignored it. Take the hint.

I had my perfect pizza last night...with a nice glass of chianti.
can I say chianti in here?

Sure you can! :) I think a glass of sangria would be good with pizza too. My son in law is from spain and he made the most wonderful sangria. I am not a red wine drinker but I sure liked that.

I just made pizza tonight. I'm sad to say I had a ginger ale with it though.

Sangria is my favorite! And I make my own, too!

And we DID eat pizza this weekend at the best local place in town.

yummy, yummy

I got a frozen tortino's party size pizza and put some extra onions and peppers and shredded cheeze on it. Nice a crispy thin crust. yum.

I have no clue as to what yer referring to. I make my own dough (probaly the wrong way) and in a pinch my own sauce.

Back when I was a kid, my mom would buy a pizza mix called Jeno's. it had the sauce and flour in the box. all you had to do was add water, the yeast was in the flour. it didnt' take too long for it to rise and then we'd have "Homemade pizza".
