how many really enjoy these groups/artists & have heard their music & if their music touches you etc... 'ARK "the angels come" 1978 (a really good album from a group from England that should've released more. i really feel the Spirit movin in these songs. "angels come" is a very sought after christian lp too) KYLE HENDERSON "more than the look of love" 1985 (this is a christian release from ex Whiteface/Producers member & is his only christian release that should've done alot better, but i guess that's what happens with no label support & very little promotion etc...this is my all-time favorite christian record that really brings me closer to Jesus everytime i hear the album) DAVID MARTIN "stronger than the weight" 1985.. "breath on the window pane" 1986 (both albums are very good from an artist that has pretty much disappeared from the music scene.if you can find them get them) ANDY MCCARROL & MORAL SUPPORT "zionic bonds" 1981 ( an awesome christian punk/new wave album that could've been played right beside The Clash & U2......an irish band that should still be making records today. zionic bonds has almost every christian theme that every christian thinks about like abortion (i am human) etc.......i still listen to this album today. on last word,,,,it was supposed to be released on cd in 2008) KAJAGOOGOO "islands"....AKA....Kaja "extra play" in the USA 1984 (every song on this album has a christian theme in the lyrics with such powerful songs like : "the power to forgive","big apple","lions mouth" & "islands"...it's one of my favorite christian albums.) DAN PEEK "all things are possible" 1979 (the very first christian album i ever bought) EVIE "never the same" 1979 (one of the purest & honest christian albums i've ever heard) PAUL CLARK "change in the wind" 1979..."aim for the heart" 1980 (2 christian albums that really captures the times) NOMO "the great unknown" 1985 ( another christian album released on a secular label at the time that alot of people didnt realize was a christian record. this was David Batteau's band who went on to be one of christian music's top producers in the 1990's. a really good christian new waveish lp with a strong christian message)

Loved the Kaja songs. Didn't Kyle Henderson do a song called the "Gift of Grace"? If so, that song was the BOMB!!!! Evie was out when I first started listening to CCM. She had a cool voice. Didn't Dan Peek used to sing with America? Not familiar with the others...

I remember taping whole albums off the radio, the Christian station used to play a whole hard rock album at 2 AM on Saturday (very early) morning. Ah yes, the days of innocence. Sorry for the hijack, can't say I ever heard of any of the artists mentioned although some of them sound real interesting like McCarroll & Moral Support. quote:

Songs from the Savior Vol 1 & 2 Come Into His Presence (introduces Phil Keaggy) Good to be Home Hand to the Plow (introduces Kelly Willard) Change in the Wind Aim for the Heart New Horizon Drawn to the Light Out of the Shadow Awakening from the Western Dream When the Moon goes behind a Cloud All great works.
