For some of the other posters, I actually think Michael has a great melodic voice unlike many of the metal bands of his time or since. It was one of the things that attracted me to Stryper. I also have his first solo project. Don't hate on my boy Mike.

My other favorites was the original leads for Holy Soldier and White Cross.

Ok, I just read this, I should have clicked/looked at the link better:

BOSTON will be bringing two new recruits on tour this year. Singer/songwriter/guitarist Michael Sweet, veteran Stryper frontman will both sing and trade riffs with Gary and Tom on guitar. Unexpected phenomenon Tommy DeCarlo, the fan that posted his BOSTON covers on his myspace.com page and ended up on stage, will also be belting out the classics that skyrocketed the band to worldwide fame.

Tommy DeCarlo was the guy mentioned by the radio announcer. He played a snippit of his stuff on the air too. He is good!
