no one has said the obvious yet[sm=icon_smile_tongue.gif] mostly any band from Tooth & Nail Records and Solid State Records will be a great band.

In my opinion, that's not completely true. Tooth & Nail has alot of good bands, but they also have alot of bands. They've got more bands than I even know about. It gets to the point where they just have too many, and some just sound like each other...or get lost in the scene...or just aren't really that great.

But more or less I agree. The major ones from T&N are quite often good bands. (But I do have my exceptions)

Well, don't forget, the label is not a government regulated thing. The placement of a Tipper Sticker is up to the record label, not the government, and not the retailer. The only reason why they refuse to sell PA albums is simply PR. They want to come across as clean, so they follow the necessary standards for the world to think of them as "clean." They measure up to that. Whether or not they measure up to God's standards is a whole 'nother issue.

Exactly, believe me I haven't forgotten. So bands that have the integrity to let you know what you're getting get hosed whereas bands like Live (with the ceremonial and traditional F-Bomb on just about every CD) and Incubus ("you're no Jesus, you're no ****** Elvis", not to mention "Make Yourself" in total) get a pass. Not to mention The Doors, as I previously brought up.

I really try not to buy CDs from Walmart but its hard when they're the closest by far and I'm impatient. Hooray for Target coming less than 10 minutes away from me next year (I hope, they keep promising but ...).

God's standards, please ... any company that would sue a woman with perpetual amnesia living in a home because of a clause that says they can recover the health insurance money they paid out if a settlement is won (which she did) is just sick. Legal, of course. Moral, absolutely not, totally disgusting. I have a feeling you agree with me.

Becoming the Archetype is melodic death metal. Horde is Black (or shall I say "white") Metal.

Becoming the Archetype...well, their first album was very much a solid death metal metal album in the vein of Mortification; even the name of album, Terminate Damnation, is the title of a Mortification song. It's really not melodic at this point, and compromises slightly on pace and energy to add atmosphere, a bit of a modern touch. On The Physics of Fire, however, they became more of a metalcore/MDM band, though nearly dominated by metalcore at times. This was a much more commercial release, separated from their more traditional debut. Horde...shouldn't be called white metal. White metal technically means Christian metal, Christian metal in general at that, but it just has too many negative connotations in a highly politically correct and racist world as ours. It's black metal, through and through.

My question is: what does this have to do with anything?
