Well, don't forget, the label is not a government regulated thing. The placement of a Tipper Sticker is up to the record label, not the government, and not the retailer. The only reason why they refuse to sell PA albums is simply PR. They want to come across as clean, so they follow the necessary standards for the world to think of them as "clean." They measure up to that. Whether or not they measure up to God's standards is a whole 'nother issue. Exactly, believe me I haven't forgotten. So bands that have the integrity to let you know what you're getting get hosed whereas bands like Live (with the ceremonial and traditional F-Bomb on just about every CD) and Incubus ("you're no Jesus, you're no ****** Elvis", not to mention "Make Yourself" in total) get a pass. Not to mention The Doors, as I previously brought up. I really try not to buy CDs from Walmart but its hard when they're the closest by far and I'm impatient. Hooray for Target coming less than 10 minutes away from me next year (I hope, they keep promising but ...). God's standards, please ... any company that would sue a woman with perpetual amnesia living in a home because of a clause that says they can recover the health insurance money they paid out if a settlement is won (which she did) is just sick. Legal, of course. Moral, absolutely not, totally disgusting. I have a feeling you agree with me.
