I have no idea but LEvi and the goat were the only two cute avatars on the previous page.

ETA: Levi is much much cuter though

The goat's name is Molly. Not even close.

Erin said she wanted to name the goats, but then she didn't come up with anything and I was tired of calling them both Baby Goat. I was giving the goats wormer which came from Molly's Herbals . . . trying to think of goat names and there was the label staring me right in the face so I figured it was as good a name as any. I spent some time working on other names but by then I was calling her Molly in my head so I figured it wouldn't do much good to change it. The other goat's name is Maggie because they seemed to go together. Molly the cat is no longer with us so there won't be any confusion.

My neighbor had named the 2 boy goats Peter and Paul . . . says I should change one of the girls to Mary LOL. That might work if I were going to keep them forever but I don't name animals I am intending to butcher.

I have a friend with a little boy about the same age. Whenever I think of Levi, it comes out Luke. I had an odd feeling when I posted that, but brushed it off. Sorry. I'll try harder. And I'm glad you still love me, as I love you too.

Another soccer day. At least it's warmer than last week. It says it's 51 out. I went outside for a few minutes and am trying to decide what kind of coat to have us wear: winter coats or lighter jackets. There is a breeze. I think I am going to wear my winter coat. I'd rather be warm then cold. I'll let the kids decide what to wear but tell them I don't want any complaints that they are cold.

Hope you all are having a pleasant Saturday! It is SOOOOO quiet in my house! Ds is at the scout camporee & dd spent the night at a friend's house last night. So, dh & I had a "date night"! We live such on the wild side, that we spent most of it at the commissary! Then we got Chinese food, brought our bed topper out on the living room floor & had a picnic & watched a movie. The movie was "The Ultimate Gift" - if you haven't seen it, it is a good one, but it was a multi-kleenex movie for me (of course I'm a boo hooer )! It was a nice night & just what we needed before next week.

Dh's pre-op appointment went well, but they changed the time of the surgery & now we have to be at the hospital at 5:30 AM! But, on the upside, it will be easier for dh to fast beforehand, since he'll be sleeping. Now, I have to rethink what the kids are going to do while we're gone - I had it worked out for them to go with a friend.

Cynthia - I am so awful at names (especially ones that are close like Luke & Levi)! We had a meeting with a couple about a scout thing we're working on & when we walked into their house I called the husband "Don". Dh came right after me & called him "Stan". I spent the first 15 minutes of our meeting trying to figure out if I was right or he was right & pretty much assuming he was right & beating myself up for calling him the wrong name. Later, I asked dh about it & then it hit me that their last name is the same as a guy we used to go to church withs last name. That guy's name was Stan, but this guy is Don - so I was right. Now, dh feels like a dummy though.

We have lots to get done today! Gotta mow the grass & work in the yard. Dh has car maintenance to do & the house needs some serious attention. I have my eye doctor appointment at 2pm today (for the opthalmic migraine I had). We also have to do our budget & checkbook. We spent about $100 more at the commissary last night than I usually do! Some of it was buying extra things, but some of it was higher prices!

Well, it ended up being very cold, cloudy, and windy at the soccer game. If I had brought a blanket it might have been OK.

I have a friend with a daughter named Kristin, and my son, Jake, has a friend named Kirsten. Even when I'm saying to myself, "Be careful, this is Kirsten", I'll still end up blurting out, "Hi Kristin!"

We got that movie from Netflix last month. I cried too.

Dh and I watched a movie last night. It was called "Alvin and the Chipmunks". We both fell asleep in the living room, I was on the floor and he was on the couch. Which reminds me, how did he manage to yell at me this morning 'cause the tv was on all night????

Pray about this OK??? We found a house that needs work but we could buy it at a very good price.. (as in what cash we have in the bank right now.) It needs a lot of work but it's in a small town and we could probably sell it when Ds is done with high school. (We might even be able to get it zoned commercial because it is located with a feed store across the street on the east, apartments on the west side and store buildings across the street to the south of it. I was thinking that if we could do this and maybe sell things like used books, ?? ) Pray that the people will accept the offer we made if the Lord wants us to have it, OK? Thanks! Judy

We do sports through the Y for $80 - the cost is reasonable for the area as it includes the cost of renting an indoor game facility. The referees are Y employees. Coaches are volunteers. Parents take turns bringing snack and drink for the end of the game.

You are promising to back me up should I have to beat her for not learning to cook.

This is from a dh who obviously thinks I am as absentminded as he is. I didn't have to remember the fuse because the door locks behaved and the light went off as it was supposed to. (My car was having seizures - door locks going on and off and dome light staying on as I was driving. I was supposed to pull the fuse when I got to work so the light wouldn't stay on and run the battery down.)

This woulda worked better, dear, if you had pm'd everyone rather than making this a general post where I could see it. I'll admit that when I read Lisa's pm I had no idea what she was talking about. Of course that would require you to remember the usernames of all my friends.

Well, Cindy, as long as I don't have to do the beating....

She was so cute--very excited. And she did cook dinner the other night.
