Tam, sounds interesting, I hope it works out for you, good luck!

I'm trying to figure out if I can study the diseases I want to. There's a page with current students and what they are researching... but they all seem to be cancer research or something genetic. I saw one neuroscience student though. If I didn't have a chance to study these disorders, I'd most definitely go into neuroscience.

Hey everybody. Been a few days since I stopped by, so I thought I'd come and say hi.

Went to the Celine Dion concert tonight. It was awesome!

Well maybe you could request more information about the school, and also maybe talk to someone there.

Trish, thats awesome!

I think I'll be okay. I'm pretty sure it's one of those things where they just take you for whatever interest you have...as long as it's in the field of pathology.

Denim ~ how wonderful...isn't it amazing how God works sometimes???

Jennifer ~ glad to hear that you are feeling better.

Tamara ~ I always find your ambitions so inspiring, it's great to see an intelligent young woman who knows what she wants and is willing to work for it...best of luck.

Trish ~ Glad you enjoyed the concert last night...I love going to concerts...there's just nothing like live music!

*waves* to the Nicoles and Ryanne

It's been a hectic day here...we're into the busy leasing season and we're still one person short and today was one of the girls day off (whoever works Saturdays gets a day during the week off) and to top it all off we're expecting a visit from our Regional Manager in the morning....so needless to say I haven't had much time today to get on and say hello.

DD is having me, DH and DS over to her new apartment for dinner tonight...I haven't seen her apartment yet, so I'm looking forward to it...will be a nice end to such a crazy day...my whole family having dinner together and I don't even have to cook it!

She's here! I posted in Kicka a bit but I'll tell more here. Her 2 boys are 11 and 6. Her husband was murdered when the little one was 1 month old. She's left them with her sister while she's here. She's worked here before so she has experience. She's a very devout Christian and is a hard worker. I try to get her to take a break but she's busy. But between the move and my job the place isn't in the greatest of shape so once she's gotten her hands on everything at least once, it should be easy for her to keep it up.

We got our bed last night! Whoohoo! It's a really firm (ok, hard) mattress. DH asked our friends to make it with medical foam (or something like that) for his back and shoulders. I think it was good for my back too but it's weird to sit on a bed that doesn't move when you sit down to put on your shoes. LOL

Well, I think the twins might finally be out (nap time) so E and I are going to eat popcorn and watch a movie. Ciao!

*wave* I'm here Trish! I do a lot of reading, not too much posting. We are doing pretty good adjusting. She is such a lil angel. And my hubby just absolutely adores her.

I worked at to give back my old stuff, well I drove all way there and left the keys to my drawer at home so I had to come all way back home, back to the PO, wasted a lot gas and time but I cant complain it was my own fault for not checking to see if I had them lol I also found out I need a new alternator for car Oh well I have been in a weird funk lately, and today I broke down and had talk with God today and I am feeling so much better.

Lisa, how was your dinner?

Beth, I hope she works out. How sad about her husband. That is great about the new bed. I sleep so well since we got our bed a year and a half ago. It was the cheapest mattress we bought and it is the comfiest mattress ever!

((((((((((Jennifer)))))))))) I am glad you feel better after talking to God.

It is supposed to rain today. It was supposed to rain yesterday, but that never happened. I spent some time outside which was awesome! It was soooo warm in the sun! It is supposed to be 70 this weekend which rocks! We are going to see the progress of the townhouses this weekend plus find a kennel for our dogs in that town so we can go on a vacation without worrying about them. And we figure it is a good idea to find a kennel in our new town so it is easy once we do live there. I feel sad about us leaving them at a kennel so we are going to find the best one so I don't worry about them being scared and/or neglected.

Nicole, it's thunderstorming here now. I'm amazed though, we hardly ever get rain or a storm this early in the year.

ETA- It's also hailing Luckily I don't think it's big enough to any real damage but being the Colorado citizens that we are the windshield is fully insured

The last time it started hailing Rudy was in the middle of the yard. He came flying back to the house very quickly!

Which is why all insurance agents cringe when spring storms come! They are calling for Arkansas to be in the dead center of what they are calling the biggest storm outbreak in many many years. TOmorrow, or moreso Friday will probably be a hectic day. Because when it storms, damage or not, EVERYONE wants their roof "checked for hail damage" and then get mad when there is none.

LOL haha I find that to be funny.

I would rather not deal with insurance so I pray that none of our property ever gets damaged.

We have alot of people that insist they have damage when they dont because they feel like since they have paid in for X number of years they are "entitled" a return, and get mad when we tell them they dont have any damage.

Oh yeah. Its fun to laugh about it after the fact, but when the phone is ringing like crazy with "will you check my roof" its not too funny. But afterwards....it one of the reasons I love my job, its always interesting, you see lots of different people, and when you DO pay them a claim and help them, you feel good about helping them. Spring is a rough time for insurance folks though!!

Oh, and no one every stops to think that there might be a 100 other people with a claim and that your insurance lady is working as hard as she can. People dont think about that at all. Oy!

So many people who have a complaint think they are the only one. That is a baaaaaad way of thinking.

Why don't people just check their own roof? Don't they have to pay for someone to come check it?

They COULD check their own roof, but they usually want the adjuster to do it, you dont have to pay for that, but it does mean opening a claim, etc. With one company we have, they are small (which means good rates) we (my boss) serves as the adjuster. And once a customer reports a claim (ie: I think I might have damage) we are required to report and/or investigate. But yes, in most cases they could check it themselves then call us if there is damage, but usually they just want us to do it.

Lazy! I hate paperwork so I try to stay away from it. Too bad so many people are lazy like that. Now, if someone really can't get onto their roof I could see them calling you and it not being such a problem.
