Nicole, Mary is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!

Jamaica was absolutely wonderful!!! The people are amazing, the scenery unbelievable. I snorkeled, I ate seaweed, I got stung by a jellyfish. I was not ready to come home and am already planning on going back maybe next year.

Since grapefruit season is starting up, I'm going to be waaayyyy busy, so if y'all don't see me around that's why. You can keep up with me through my blog.

So my interview went pretty well. They liked several things about me that I can bring to their school. So hopefully I protrayed myself as a confident teacher with great ideas for the class. I will see in a week. They said that they would let me know in the next week or so. I am glad that it is over. I am sure even if I don't get hired, that the next interview will be easier- simply because I have done one now.

Hope everybody has a great evening. I need to make sure that I am ready to start back to work tomorrow. I also need to find some things to do with my autistic child this week besides what I already have done with him.

Morning ladies!

It is still cold/snowy/blowy outside. [&:] It's been over a week now with no sun[>:]. It is supposed to start warming up a bit this saturday. This is ridiculous! It is supposed to be Spring and our winter finally decided to come. [8D]

I didn't post about my weekend yesterday so I will now. Lorne's brother and his girlfriend stayed with us for 3 nights. This is the longest his brother has stayed with us. Usually we see him for a few hours then he gets up early and has to catch a flight or drive somewhere. It was a lot of fun! His work had to give him an allowance because he is taking a few courses in town this week so we went out for 3 nice meals. [:D] He even paid for our movie tickets. We didn't have to spend a cent all weekend. [:D] His girlfriend is such a fun person! We got along so easily and have quite a bit in common. It was nice to meet someone who works works and works some more, but doesn't look down on me because I don't work. She said that people need to make choices in their lives that make them happiest. Work and travelling makes her happy (except she doesn't like her job now) and other people are happy just hanging out with family. It was just so nice to finally meet someone in person like her. She also doesn't have any female friends so we had that in common too. [;)]They are most likely moving to the New Orlean's area this summer which would be super cool! I think I would have to get over my fear of being stuck in a plane to go visit them. [:D]

I guess I haven't had much to talk about either. [8D] It has been cloudy and blah for a long time now. I am so sick of snow and clouds. It's depressing to think that we only have about 4 months of warm weather ahead if it starts warming up in May... unless September stays warm this year. I just want Spring to come so I can enjoy warm weather before it is fall again. [&:]

Hi, ladies.

Remember all that food we ran out of and we had to get pizza? Well, we all forgot there was a ton more food in the oven. A found it Tuesday (the party was Saturday night) when she opend the oven to light it to make lunch. [:@] She said it made her head to hurt to think about it and she had to take a Panadol!

My roots are gone! My hair is now a brown with a few highlights on top. Much better than they yellow straw with the dark roots I've had since December. [:'(] I love the lady who did my hair and I can't wait to go back to her again.

Well, it's Thursdays night and it's the weekend. [:D] Church tomorrow and then hopefully home to relax. I intend to be as lazy as I can get away with.

BTW, M is starting to protest taekwondo. He actually loves it but he hates having to do what he's told. So even though he's only 4 we're making him stick with it. Tonight when I dropped them off he didn't want to get out of the car. The captain got him out and he was NOT happy about that. But captain had him hug and kiss me several times before he went inside. Then when I picked them up I was told that M (who's told me times that captain doesn't like him) finally got up the nerve to tell Captain "you don't like me". I asked what the captain said in response to that. He said, "He said don't go to taekwondo anymore." Somehow that just didn't sound like something he'd say so I checked with E. Apparently the captain had told M, "I do like you." LOL Little sneak.

You can tell that A has boys of her own. E tracked sand onto the rug in the hallway that A had cleaned today (she has to do it by hand with a brush to get Elektra's hair off it). She wasn't too pleased. So she laid a proper guilt trip on him. [:D] I like this woman!

Well, we did it. We got some 1,2-diphenylethane-1,2-dione and made 1,2-diphenylethane-1,2-diol... then took that and sythesized 2,2-dimethyl-1,5-dioxolane. Now we have to do the presentation (which I'm finding difficult), then finish the notebook... and I'm forever done with organic chemistry lab (but not organic chemistry lecture). [&:] It was rough though...

I have been pretty busy this week - enough to look around a little bit, but not posting much.

But I got the job this morning!!!!!!! I haven't officially accepted yet since I wanted to take a little bit of time to pray and talk with my friends/family. But I am really excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am glad that I was offered it so quickly after the interview- though it has been a long past couple of days waiting. Thanks everybody for the prayers!!!!

Hope everybody else is doing okay. It is almost Friday!!!!!!!!!!!

BETH!!! THAT IS SO AWESOME!! Where is the teaching job at? If you want to you can pm me if you don't want to post that here. I am so happy for you. I just told mom and she is very happy too! So exciting!! [:D][:D]

The job is in the panhandle of OK - I will be about 3 hours from Tim's and 5 hours from my parents. I will PM you the actual city - I mean town, I mean...slight (and I mean very slight) stop on the highway [:D] I am excited to. Now to start thinking/figuring how I am going to get/buy furiture and things like that. What I had in college was very much college stuff- go for a couple of years, but has already been through its years and now needs to be replaced. I will have fun/be busy this weekend with things like that [:D]
