Stacy, your links aren't working for me on your blogger site. I keep trying to leave comments, but it won't let me click on anything... not even anything on your sidebar. Do these links work for you?

Beth, I hope you're feeling better today and can manage to get some more rest. Thursday, yes, I did see the story about the Austrian house of horrors. That's just terrible! That family needs some serious prayer! I've had my first exercise session with the rehabilitation physiologist. I'm surprised at how much I was able to do, but my body is really paying for it now. I hear the first few weeks are going to be painful. I'll just have to remember to take painkillers before I head to the gym. I hope you all have a good day.

So, I did the eleven slides for the chemistry project presentation. I'm going back tonight to change one thing them print them off (it's a poster presentation, but they want the info put on slides, then for us to print the slides). I texted my lab partner this morning (I'd given him a copy of the slides on monday) to ask him if everything looked okay, with the exception of what I need to change, but I haven't heard back from him... this was at 9am and it's 4:30pm now. I'm just going to do what I think needs to be changed (I don't know if it's right) and put the pages on construction paper for tomorrow. I'm at that point where I really can't look at it anymore, and he's not doing anything at all that I can think of. I know he has a baseball game tonight..which leads me to believe that he has his cell phone... We'll see.

Stacy, your blog works for me. Wow that ice cream deal sounds good! We don't have either of those anywhere around here. I think we used to have a Baskin Robbins in the mall in the city, but it's not there anymore. Wow, a sand storm, I would like to see pictures of that! It sounds like something to see. What happens after something like that? Do they clean it up off the roads and stuff or what? We still have a little bit of snow here. None in our yard, but there's a lot of it just further up the road. We're on the side of a mountain, so the snow doesn't hit that side very often, there will likely be snow there until June! There's a huge flooding scare just an hour or so away from here, a lot of people are being evacuated, and we're expecting a lot of rain again today. That must be scary!

There are 3 baskin robbins around here but they are far enough away that I can't get to them. They are only doing the cheap scoops from 5-10. I work till 5:30 then have 1 hour to collect 3 kids from 2 different places and eat dinner and get to AWANA till 9. DOn't think we will make it Oh, yes I did say work but I only work 2 hrs a day and the kids can come with me as long as their schedules don't conflict so I still consider myself a SAHM

Nicole, I would slow adjust it until its right but dont leave them the all way loose, I havent looked but Im sure you can google Info about biking courses and days that are hosted days where you can learn and see new equipment, I know they had them around here they had mens day and womens day. I didnt get to go though. Tamara, doesnt sound like he cares what happens... Thursday, sand storm sounds crazy we have baskin robins like 30mins from where we live. Yolanda, that does sound scary Well todays another day, I havent been sleeping well lately at all and last night I had finally fallen asleep and I wake up to this loud sound, like someone using some tool against our house or something...I didnt know what to think...my rooms on the otherside of house away from everyone...and Im whoa... thinking some one was trying to get in or something... and then I seen my sister in hall and to find out it must be the pipes or something going underneath house... at first I thought it was the alarm system we have, its from the previous owners and its not active but everyonce in blue moon it goes off... but it was strange. but after that I had an even harder time getting back to sleep and then this moring my sisters were very loud and woke me up at 6 am. I was going to stop get some coffee or soda or something but remebered the lady coming to this test at work was going to be there early so I didnt have time to.

My niece started working at Baskin Robins over a year ago. She said that as far as she knows, all restaurants nationwide are participating. She said that last year the lines were already out the door at about 4:30. She's not looking forward to working tonight. My dad and step-mom are taking all of their younger grandchildren as soon as school gets out. That will get them there about 4. There is a park near the one they are going to. One is going to stand in line while the other takes the kids over to the park and they'll use their cell phones to communicate how far along they are in the line. Then about 9:30 they are going to stop by the one where my niece works with the older grand kids and they are going to take my niece a surprise.

Lorne's bike is adjusted correctly and it isn't near as bumpy as mine is. He adjusted everything to his liking. He has a good biking book that I have been reading through (Mastering Mountain Biking Skills). It has a lot of interesting stuff to read in it. Pretty much I was using my handlebars as a way for balancing too much so that is why it was quite bumpy (it still needs a bit of adjusting though). You are supposed to use your legs and body to balance, not your handlebars. You should be able to ride your bike just barely touching the handlebars. This is what it says in the book: "Believe it or not, your handlebars are not for holding your upper body up. You have a lot to do with your bars- steering, pulling yourself forward, pushing yourself back, pressing down to weight, and pulling up to unweight- so the less you lean on them for basic support, the better. Here's why: More comfort. You place less stress on hand nerves and shoulder muscles. Better handling. Your bike steers more easily and a light grip allows your front wheel to flop around as it whips into corners. More stable. Less weight on the bars makes your bike less likely to pitch you over them. Ready for action. When you lean on the bar, you half-commit in the downward, lazy direction. When you hover over your bar, you're poised to push, pull, steer, lean etc. " I was using my handlebars too much to make me feel safe. We were driving around traffic so I felt a bit nervous. When we went on a bike/walking path I felt a lot safer so that is why it didn't hurt as much. But still, going on the gravel is a bit too rough so I should adjust it a bit.
