The other day my MIL told me that her pastor recommended Crosswalk for Bible Study tools...I thought uh oh.....hopefully she doesn't figure out how to use the forums (she wouldn't recognize my screen name but she'd recognize her granddaughter). I don't say anything bad about her, but I have discussed that we have had problems in the past. She knows that though.

I only text when I want to send Dh a cute little message while he is at work.

I enjoy facebook. I held out for a while, but got into it. I have quite a few friends who aren't in the city anymore so it's nice to keep up with them. I just hate when someone else adds an application and then sends you the invitation to add that application. I hate all the requests.

Tamara - when I was in uni, they changed everything up, but those of who were already enrolled still got to go by the old rules for classes to graduate. Will your university have that same policy? (btw....I love your signature line (blog title). That is one of my favourite songs that always brings me comfort.)

Hi RansomedHeart! Welcome! Congratulations on your upcoming marriage and move.

I dont know anything definite, just that the u/s techs were talking about "sludge" and "small stones". I have a regular "baby" appt on Monday. It just would have been nice for my parents to care. They didnt even care when I showed them the u/s pics of the baby, I got a "yeah, so, I cant tell anything about it" "whats the big deal?"

((((hugs)))) I'm so sorry.

See, that's what I THOUGHT and the head of the biology department agrees (or at least did in the past), but the thing is, knowing the head of the chem. department, he's not going to go for it anyway. I should have asked the dept. head (biology) but I forgot. I know the chem. chair won't approve it though... I know how he is. I'm trying to actually FIND the rule somewhere before I ask him to approve it, but I really can't find it now. I'm going to ask a fellow bio. major later and see what she says. I'm hoping the "rule" will kind of force him to approve it, if that makes sense.

I might go in there tomorrow. I was going to ask my professor those chem. questions today (the dept. head's office is right by the office of my chem. professor), but he either got here late or wasn't coming, so I left... plus there were a bunch of people waiting for him, so I would probably still be waiting as I speak (or type). I want to ask someone first to make sure I'm right though. For the life of me I just can't figure out why they changed stuff so drastically... It's like it's impossible now to get transfer credit for some chemistry classes because the majority of places don't do it this new way. They do them the old way or something similar.

ETA: I'm sure I know what he's going to say. In '04, threre was a such thing as biochemistry I. To take it you just had to pass Chem. 301. To take biochemistry II, you had to pass Chem. 302. Now there is just one big biochemistry class that you have to pass chem. 302 for. He's gonna say there is no more biochem. I, and that I haven't taken chem. 302. And over there where I'm taking it, it was similar to our old way... not the new way.

My best friend just called me and asked me to start the church prayer chain for her little one. He is 2 1/2, and was fine when dropped off at day care this morning, now he has a 104degree fever, is "twitching" and "lethargic". She is taking him to the dr right now. She is very very worried (and to top it off her hubby just left a couple of weeks ago for his first deployment, so she's under alot of stress). She is Amber, the baby is Liam. Thanks.

Sure ya are... That stinks about all the school stuff being all wonky like that.

Welcome RansomedHeart! Forums are always confusing at first.

I thought the whole point of Facebook / Myspace was to stay caught up with people?

It is... but not when you already know that person in real life and they decide to not call and just use facebook instead. Lorne doesn't sign onto facebook all the time so if a person he knows in real life invites him out by using facebook he will most likely miss it. Or like with my cousin. She has my number so I told her to just call me so I am not having to check facebook all day long to see if she is in my city.

(((((((((((((((Erin))))))))))) Maybe they don't want to bring it up because they don't want to worry you. Or maybe they are worried so they don't want to bring it up just in case.

I will pray for Liam and Amber Erin.

I doubt it. They have never in the past have cared about upsetting or worrying me. Usually upsetting me gives them a great thrill.

Maybe it would be a good idea to not share any baby stuff or health stuff with them if they don't seem to care (((((((((((hugs))))))))))

Yeah, I've already decided that. I usually KNOW thats what I need to do, just not tell them stuff. But then I get to feeling bad and hoping things will be different, then I end up in the same place again.

I am tired again today. So is Lorne. Zzzzzz

Yesterday I went through half of the boxes we kept packed up and threw away about half of our stuff. Once I finish we might not have much left!

Lorne works with a very nice guy. He is living in a 4 level split right now. His landlords are retired and live in the 2 bottom floors and he has the 2 top floors to himself. They are split with a locked door. Anyways, he talked to his landlords and told them that we have to move and find a place to live for a few months until our place is finished being built. He told them about all of our pets and they said that if we can't find a place we are welcome to come live there. Very nice of them to offer without even knowing us! I just don't think it would work out though. Our cats wouldn't have anywhere to stay at night or when we go out (unless they have separate laundry rooms or something) and I would be stressed out worrying about them being stressed out and scratching carpet. And I would be worried our dogs would bark at the people in the basement all the time and then cry at the door to visit them once they got to know them. It is just nice to know that someone is willing to do this for us. And we would only have to pay $600 for rent, but I would rather find a place of our own and not have to worry about pets being stressed and me being stressed.

It just makes me smile knowing how nice these strangers are without even having met us. And the guy from Lorne's work is just a friendly dude. I wish we knew some Christians who were nice like this.

Hey Jennifer! It is cloudy, but a bit warmer here today. Too bad that the sun isn't shining on your day off. But yay for having lunch with your soon to be hubby! I used to use myspace all the time, but it won't let me post pictures anymore so I sorta gave up on it for the time being.

I hope it's not your gall bladder. I have noticed lately that when I am stressed out I get some pretty crazy pains...

aww (( Erin)) I hope your day goes better and that you feel better

My friend would have attacks too, sometimes it was things she ate that would bring her attacks on. Did you have anything greasy or spicy today?

Yeah, that grease/oil will do it to ya... unfortunately. That's what did it for my mom.

Yeah, anything greasy or fatty will start an attack. Especially fast food, gravies and deep fried foods. My grandma had gall bladder problems and was told to quit eating unhealthy... but she didn't want to eat healthier so she was always in pain. I can't remember if she had her gall bladder removed or not. It's hard to remember since she has so much wrong.

Welcome, Ransomed Heart

Deb, I know what you mean about things others post on their pages sometimes being disturbing. I don't use Facebook but I do use MySpace...and I've found the same to be true.

Erin ((((HUGS)))) to you. Hope everything turns out ok with the ultrasound...

Now...on to pay 5 to read...lol.

((Erin))- I hope you feel better soon!
Nicole- that's good that you at least have a last resort for somewhere to live, although I hope you find a place that suits your needs.
Tamara- it sounds like your school likes to make up all sorts of weird rules to make things difficult and cost people money. I hope you get some answers from someone.

Spicy yeah, greasy no. So far I havent seen on particular thing that triggers it...I've had it before, during, and after greasy food, non greasy foods, healthy foods, bland foods, spicy foods. Never any one noticeable trend. I dont use much oil in cooking but I usually use olive oil.

The pain stopped, it wasnt bad, but it felt like the beginning of one of my attacks.
