Still coughing...if I could shake that I'd feel great. I seem to be doing it less and less, but its not gone yet.

Lexie...I don't remember if it was this thread or another one that we were discussing how we'd feel if someone ran across some of the things we'd posted...I can tell you that it DOES happen sometimes...good added incentive for keeping our 'speech' gracious...lol. Erin ~ I will certainly add Amber and little Liam to my prayer list for this evening...that was a really high fever, I'm glad they found the problem quickly and started treating him. Tamara ~ I'm sorry for your frustrations...but I must say that everytime you talk about school that you make me feel incredibly blessed to not be in school. Nicole ~ Sorry you're having such a hard time finding housing...too bad you aren't in Alabama...I'd take care of ya Jennifer ~ if you need a friend to add on MySpace you can find me HERE. The weather here today is just plain BLAH...which kind of fits me today...lol.

Today is the epitome of April showers. It has been not raining, but more than just sprinkling today. ALL DAY! The weekend is to be in the upper 60's with with all the rain we are getting it will still be muddy and yuck out. I was really hoping to chase the kids out this weekend (especially if we have the baby in the next day or two). Well I guess we still could, just hose them off before they come inside.

I think I know what I'll do. I'm told I'm held to the 04-05 catalog, which would mean he'd have to approve it, but the problem is, I'm pretty sure he'll try to hold me to something later....something that is there NOW that wasn't there before. The chair of the biology is the one who told the biology majors that fact, and tomorrow morning I'm going to drop by and see if he's free and just ask him about it, but specifcally about my chemistry minor and transferring credit. He's usually not having classes in the morning, so I think what I'll do is ask him about it before my classes start, then between two classes try to get it approved by the chair of chemistry (was supposed to do it today, but I'm trying to make sure I can).

ORIGINAL: InBetweenDreams I can't stand coughing like that. It hurts everything. Hopefully your coughing stops soon so you can feel totally better. Um, yeah. I have a spot under my ribs where I think I pulled a muscle from coughing so much. It hurts whenever I cough, but it also hurts if I try and stifle the cough- I can't win either way.

Getting an education sounds so.... confusing and aggravating. Yep, me no likey school much at all. I would only go back if I had to and if I found something I am really passionate about.

Lol, Lisa. One of my friends is a senior...graduating later in May I think. He's a biology major, and he said himself that, if he had it to do all over again, he wouldn't have. I don't hear many almost-graduates say that, and he was planning on medical school (I think he just changed his mind). I think some of it is the fact that, even though biology is hard work, the $$ looks really bad for a bachelor's. I don't think he likes that, but hopefully I'm going straight to a PhD, and although I'll still have to live between... and still be poor even when I'm a doctor. Hopefully that'll be for a little while, but being poor with a BS in biology can last forever moreso than having a graduate degree.

Watching what you post - having Nicole (RIR) around helps with that. Things have a tendency to get past around the family so if I don't want my grandma/mother to know, I don't put it on here. But it does help me to watch what I say since I know it is quite likely for things to get back around. I know what you mean. Mom is beginning to read and post more in the womens folders, and I know Lori likes to read so I don't post as much as I want to sometimes.

Stacy can you reveal that thing you were talking about a while ago yet? Well the present thing has been sorted, SIL didn't realise how much an original actually cost, now we just have to agree on which print to get...

All of those options are a plane ride away from Phoenix. For me, part of the appeal is getting to be in a different city for a while. It would require being away from DH for most of the time I was gone, but he would probably fly out to stay with me for a week in the middle.

ORIGINAL: RansomedHeart Oh my... I'm new here...and I don't know if I'm doing this correctly. It would seem that a 20 year old college student would know how to navigate a forum. No such luck. Anyway, I just came across this forum while searching for other random things and I'm about to get married and move to a new city so...I thought it would be nice to have some e-friends to talk to! Ive been lurking around here for a few days and everyone seems..lovely :) Happy April friends. Hi RansomedHeart and welcome!! Welcome from me too. It's Friday here, making it the 4th of the 4th. Happy birthday to Catherine, my birthday twin.
